traders then often reach out to other traders and look for answers to their questions. You will usually see traders ask things such as “how should I move my stop loss”, “when do you take profit”, “which indicator is the best for entries”, “how much money do I need and how much can I make”, “which timeframe is the best” or “is my indicator setting wrong”. I am sure those questions sound familiar and most traders will have them in their heads.

However, you should NEVER EVER ask a different trader about such crucial, personal and strategy-specific questions. First, you have no idea if the other trader answers honestly and correctly, you don’t know his objections and, most importantly, the other trader has no idea how you trade, he does not know your full approach, how you execute your trades and what your struggles are.

By asking the questions above, traders hope to gain clarity and remove the doubts they have. However, when the answers you get are not correct and you start making changes to your trading that result in more losses, you will end up worse off. You artificially created hope and certainty by asking random traders and your hopes then got crushed once you saw that your results didn’t improve your performance.

jact .. i look at 1H to get some context eg how many waves are done ?? have the 5-waves been completed if it's impulsive ?? is there divergence on the last push ?? then i look at m15 to look at how the subwaves of those on 1H chart developing ... is price above MA ? and lastly m5 is my trading time frame !! i think fairplayer looks at m1 chart but it's not suitable for me as i am looking at patterns / structure to form ... i find there are too many false signals on m1 :( it really depends on the strategy u want to employ ... say if u trade based on news, perhaps a different approach is required ie u cannot afford to wait for structure to develop aka confirmation !! trading with / without confirmation has pro n con ... eg pro - (1) u trade with better confidence as there are confluence of factors (2) less likely get stopped out ... con - (1) u many miss out trades esp those with V-shape pattern (2) u tend to trade with less discipline (3) lower RRR (risk-reward-ratio)

thanks so much twobits for hsif :) finally i counted the same as yours ... mine also covers the minors of C as below ! minor b of C is rangy now .. again, takes the longest time to complete .. if break below this range, then our count is valid .. so far so good till our line in sand is violated that warrants an alternative count :) wud like to see her dip to daily 20ma support which is also the re-testing of downward TL of daily before further hike based on that hot news !

2) 22700 - 22927 wave B
3) 22927 - ???? wave C work-in-progress
a) 22927 - 22777 minor a of C
b) 22777 - i give a TP of 62F at 22870 for minor b of C rally
c) 22870 - hmmm will she drop back to 20ma daily support ???
p/s - both A and B took 2 days (include the evening / nite session) to complete and so i think C also !!! notice it's always minor b that takes longer time to process .. the a and c can be V-shape pattern

blacksails .. not very sure if it's wave 4 or wave ABC in progress :( but from daily, pretty clear broke the typical neckline of a H&S trend reversal pattern .. then price is below 200ma now and u see both 20ma and 50ma pointing downwards meaning short-term is not so rosy .. there shall be ebb and flow along the way but the underlying 'current' is down :(:(:( till we see some reversal sign .. at least price goes back up above 20ma !!

oh ya abangadik .. i read in the star too :( american vs asian steel makers !!! a good lesson for traders esp the short-term ones .. ps do not mix-up your target with that of FA folks .. they can hold for months / years ... traders must always refer to TA to enter / exit and do not chase when u see (1) waves are already sky-high (no matter who is promoting the counter in public forum .. more so if those ID we have not seen before) and (2) price is very far away from moving average .. price will snap-back to the MA aka the rubber-band-effect :(

still can look at those steel counters or not ?? hehehe

oops .. should be dynamic MA (DMA) support :)

twobits .. ekovest is either in wave B or minor b of wave A !! ripe for a rally to tp 2.37ish ... cl 2.21 .. if u have time, ps check your awesome subwaves :) also a double +D on 60m and about 38F retracement which is a pretty common level to process a short rally ? also has dropped into an area of DR support (between 20ma and 50ma)
p/s - drb, will let the market one more day to process the latest QR :) looking at daily, 5 waves down shud be finishing .. perhaps to wait for a candle reversal pattern on daily is not a bad idea !

twobits .. i am looking at fgv !! tot she wud rally to between 1.50 - 1.52 today with a +D on 1H and 4H ... let's see if we need a double +D on 1H (this happened previously when she hiked from 1.82 to 1.97) to stage a rally .. in this case, we shud be looking at the lower support area around 1.30ish ?
