KDEB's takeover plan sends confusing signals
Selangor government-owned Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd's (KDEB) proposed takeover of Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd transmits "confusing signals", analysts say.
They are puzzled over KDEB's motives to privatise the property developer from Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd, which is also controlled by the state government.
Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd head of research Edmund Tham said the deal gives out confusing signals whether it is purely business decision or one that is based on politics.
"The Selangor government wants to consolidate the water players in the state and as far as I know, Kumpulan Hartanah is a company that deals solely in properties.
"Really, I am not sure about their main plan," he told Business Times yesterday.

KHSB moves because it follows KPS

The news is true. The game is... They will sell khsb after the GO annoucement of KHsb, then they will earned a few million and collect KPS.. I think KPS will be above 1.80 if Puncak agree to accept the offer by 6 March. But still the same dont hope too much on KHSB, better concentrateon on KPS. KPS is the real star.

If i wan to privatise KHSB, I will collect the shares slowily in the open market and i will control the share price not to shoot up too fast. So i can buy more at cheaper price. But wat happend to KHSB, Shoot up tooo fast, big gap- weird?? After that the share price unchanged and will fall down slowily later. Who will collect the shares?? only the small fishes, waiting to sell higher (offer price)or Market Inefficiency?. Syndicates never cook for u as wat they told me last time. I just dont wan u all fall into the trap since i know wat is going on. Sorry Ooi

anbz: If u wan Kps and Khsb to shoot up like a rocket.. BN has to take back Selangor. Because Khalid didnt do antyhing for these 2 counters. He just spent the money. Once BN gain back the control stake, the old plan will be on again.. I know wat KHSB is doing now.. Better dont hope too much for this counter. But i think KPS will fly by end of this month

Who r the syndicates for kps and khsb in 2007 & 2008? I dont think they will make it again because they get burned in 2008. Hehehehe

Sorry to say, Khsb has no development after 2008. Just let u know... I know wat is happening inside khsb and kps. Both of them have no $$$. They cant even pay the staffs salaries on time.. Bad Management..

KPS and PUNCAK suppose to be merged in 2008 and KPS took over JAKS but.... Selangor changed hand.

If KDEB has money, Why KPS sold out JAKS at 0.32++ while it was bouught 1.00++ last time. Figure shows in the report doesn't mean it is real

KDEB has no money to buy. I think they just wan to manipulate the price and gain profit for election.... In the efficient market, u wont gain any profit for the news which already known by everyone. Let see
