Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) hari ini menegaskan bahawa pihaknya tidak lagi memegang apa-apa kepentingan saham dalam Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV).

Menurut kenyataan oleh Jabatan Hal Ehwal Korporat KWSP, dana persaraan itu memantau prestasi ekuiti FGV sejak beberapa tahun dan secara beransur-ansur menjual pegangan sahamnya.

"KWSP memberi jaminan kepada semua ahli bahawa kami mengamalkan tahap piawaian tadbir urus korporat yang tinggi menerusi dasar yang teguh pada kawalan risiko dan Peruntukan Aset Strategik.

"Selaras dengan amalan terbaik ini, kami telah memantau prestasi ekuiti FGV sejak beberapa tahun dan menjualnya secara beransur-ansur dan sehingga hari ini, KWSP tidak lagi memegang apa-apa saham dalam FGV," menurut kenyataan itu lagi.

Kira-kira sebulan yang lalu, FGV mengumumkan, kumpulan itu mencatatkan kerugian bersih RM98.19 juta atau 2.7 sen sesaham bagi tempoh sembilan bulan pertama tahun kewangan semasa berakhir 30 September 2016.

Prestasi sedemikian berlaku walaupun perolehan kumpulan itu meningkat enam peratus kepada RM12.09 billion sepanjang sembilan bulan pertama itu berbanding tempoh yang sama tahun kewangan lalu.

Memetik laporan The Edge Markets, FGV mencatatkan kerugian itu walaupun berjaya menjana keuntungan bersih sebanyak RM15.74 juta atau 0.4 sen sesaham untuk tempoh yang sama tahun kewangan 2015.

Dalam tempoh suku ketiga tahun kewangan semasa, kerugian bersih FGV terus bertambah kepada RM94.87 juta atau 2.6 sen sesaham berbanding RM33.92 juta atau 0.9 sen sesaham setahun yang lalu.

Pertambahan kerugian tersebut disebabkan oleh penurunan pengeluaran minyak sawit mentah (CPO), kenaikan kos gula mentah selain perolehan lebih rendah daripada segmen hiliran, kata laporan itu.

Mengulas lanjut, kata jabatan berkenaan lagi, KWSP juga ingin mengesahkan pinjaman RM6.5 bilion yang diambil oleh FELDA Holdings (Felda) juga tidak mempunyai sebarang tunggakan.

"Felda terus balik pinjaman mengikut terma dan syarat yang dipersetujui," jelasnya.

Sehubungan dengan itu, KWSP menggesa ahli-ahlinya dapat mengesahkan fakta dengan pihaknya serta tidak terpengaruh dengan ulasan serta komen yang dibuat di media sosial dan dalam talian, ujarnya lagi.
