I have recently bought into AA with recommedation of an analyst fren.
The reasons why u see so many die hards talking down AA here is that-
They also want to buy into AA.
If not u think they so free everyday go and talk bad things abt AA till their mouths also turn foul

Reason- very simple. After iran deal, the next theme play is low price oil.
The biggest beneficiary for low oil price is airlines, especially especially budget airline !!
AA is the no 1 budget airline in asia, with fast growth potential !!

My previous TP @ 1.55 (50% SOP) has been raised to 1.79

Reliable source. AAB will go above 1.78 in a month !!!

When someone is purposely pressing down the price, it means the Up is not too far away

If u are genuine seller, will u sell substantial on holiday eve at depressed price??
Obviously someone is manupulating the price down.
What better time to manipulate for a counter alredi with little volume than to do it on a holiday eve, when there are no real buyers & sellers?

Five reasons why is a Big Up for AA today:-

1. Greece crisis settled, all world indexes strong up. Dow up consecutive 2 days >200pts.
2. KLCI technical up. See last Sat Star TA.
3. Foreign funds becomes net buyers in klse since late last week.
4. AA in technical oversold area. Big shareholders who sold after Indo false alert alredi started buy back.
5. Shorties have achieved their objective to short till near target 1.20. AA has touched 1.23, this is designed to hit investors' confidence as this price is a touch below IPO price 1.25 at 11 years back. It has rebounded since.

Yes I strongly believe TP 1.78.
And i will sell all at 1.55.
And i will show hand at 1.29.
(Actually I sold some today @ 1.34 as last week load too much @ 1.29;
but later realise is mistake so buy back again @ 1.32)

AA is 53% owned by foreign fund.
Besides Wellington who now left with 6%, the other 47% are not selling.
Besides GMT, all other analysts are very positive with target price >double existing.
Now only trading slightly above its IPO price eleven years ago, when AA is still a nobody then.
Really don understand why so much worry.
And the huge number of sellers r clearly fake as if they r real, AA would have alredi changed hand by now (only Wellington doing active buy sell as per Bursa record).
Why be fooled by the shorters, who r now actively buying back n happily makes ton of money!
