Short term player is all about bull and bear trap

That is why the price is manipulated you cannot just judge the outcome by fundamentals for short term. For mid term and long term, market value and fundamentals would have more impact.

However short selling is not the only factor the price would dip. If profit taking take all the queue of current buying queue... short seller will be selling the lower price then they can keep pushing the price down...

They need to cover back the share ... they will buy whatever share in the queue to return the share that tgey sold.

IDSS however is intra day short selling... which transaction time frame is just 1 day

Shrt selling sell shares that does not belong to them... they usually sell lower than current price. They will need to buy back to return the share back to the rightful owner before certain time or they need to pay interest like renting the share.
