I believe many retailers' queued buy orders had been filled yesterday in big quantities and amount so these ppl cannot settle the contracts and they WILL sell it out and those who wanna queue to buy at 0.235/0.230/0.225 you better be smart because these retailers will fill ur orders.

I hate to be seen as the bad guy but I'll just do it to save the not ignorant ones out of this price collapse. The mighty construction veteran Dr Yeoh's departure is a sudden one and with no immediate succession plan in place. Does that not tells u a lot already? Even I've come forward to warn all of you. If u wanna ask me further, I can only tell u that some dee$hit problem is brewing within the vivocom group of companies. Clear ur positions accordingly, good luck and Godspeed!

MuttonCurry, lol nop not even a cent. I have no position at all as of now and I don't wish to get cheaper. I suggest u better sell quickly for a profit. Some deep$hit problem is brewing within the vivocom group of companies. I've given u all the hints. Good luck and Godspeed.

Hi MuttonCurry, I've always comment based on facts. Did u not see some ugly price actions late afternoon yesterday when I was away from this forum? I had an important meeting until late night. Still don't get my hints? Still ignorant? Good luck to u buddy.

Hi Devi, I've no hidden agenda...I'm simply a good samaritan who don't want people especially the innocent newcomers to lose money or heaps of it. You must not buy and hold anymore because some deep $hit is happening within the vivocom group of companies. When they have no choice but to announce it officially then you wish u should have listened to me. That time, I will not feel sorry for those who were ignorant to my goodwill of telling u all. You see, I'm basically the only one (most likely) to advocate a sell call on vivocom during its price upsurge and peak. Does that not awaken you even now? Don't become a sad case when u lose lots of it.

Good morning! How are u all doing? I had a long meeting into the late night. Are u all still biting and chewing onto the prospects of vivocom to rebound and up up away? You all better reconsider your decision because something $hitty is going on within vivocom. That's more than enough for u all to know. I've spilled the beans and you all should know what to do. For those who saw some surprising price actions late afternoon yesterday must be wondering what's happening. I've told u so.

u all wait for me. I will come back to tell u all. I'm going to a very important meeting. Good luck to u all.

Also, regarding the CEO posts being vacant now. Why such a big company cannot even have a proper timely succession plan in place? Only to mention 2 deputies can fill the roles? If u are a real market investor/trader, u will understand. Let me tell u, it means that it was a "SUDDEN" decision to leave vivocom. Internal conflicts or he knows some deep$hitt problems are brewing inside the vivocom company? You better run when they finally got no choice but to announce the impending troubles within the company.
To all ladies and gentlemen, yes u all may not want to believe me but I urge u to really believe me this time because THERE IS SOME DEE$SHITT GOING ON WITHIN VIVOCOM. FIrst, Anne Kung left and the mighty reputable Dr Yeoh is resigning as CEO. Be rationale and logical when u invest or trade. I too don't want anyone to lose money.

No matter how u retaliate against me, the business environment is deteriorating not only in M'sia but around the globe. This again u cannot deny unless ur understanding is very shallow.
2016-06-29 13:03 | Report Abuse
ktsk88, pls be rationale here. I assume that you are a Malaysian and residing in M'sia. You cannot deny that the property sector in m'sia is very weak right now and many developers have stop building and delaying launches.
Now if u talk abt infrastructure, m'sia government is facing a cashflow problems too. This was sparked by elevated corruptions inside UMNO/BN parties. The pies are getting smaller that's why Najib wants to enforce this GST. Government has scrapped some infrastructure spending and re-budget some as well. Go dig around for further information before u fire back at me. Since vivocom is tied to China and M'sia govt for mega projects, then how well do u think they will fare going forward the timeline?

During such bad market sentiment and weakening business environment, u can kiss goodbye to vivocom of clinching any more contracts. Property transactions and constructions around the country have slowed down considerably so how bright of the prospects that vivocom can get more tender contracts? The prospect is quite worrisome and u should be very cautious. Some funds and individuals are very sensitive to these bad prospects.

Vivocom declines 10% on reports CEO may retire early
KUALA LUMPUR (June 27): Vivocom International Holdings Bhd's shares declined as much as 10.2% on reports Vivocom chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Seri Dr Yeoh Seong Mok may retire early.
At 12.05pm, the stock shed as much as 2.5 sen to 22 sen, before paring losses to 22.5 sen. A total of 33.77 million shares were traded.
The counter was the second most active stock traded on the local bourse this morning.
After hitting a slump in the beginning of last year, Vivocom, formerly known as Instacom Group Bhd, saw a sharp uptick in the value of its shares from 8.6 sen on Sept 22, 2015, after the company proposed to raise its stake in aluminium window and door manufacturer Neata Aluminium (M) Sdn Bhd, to a five-year high of 36 sen on May 12 this year.
However, the stock has been on a steady decline since.
Year to date, the stock has dropped 30.54%, underperforming the FBM KLCI, which fell 7.8%.
The Edge Weekly, citing sources, reported over the weekend that Yeoh, who turns 60 this year, may be retiring early from the construction outfit.
Yeoh, who was appointed CEO of Instacom on Nov 2 last year, was instrumental in channelling construction contracts from China's China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd (CRCC).
The Edge Weekly said Yeoh's early retirement may throw a wrench into the group's plan of achieving RM3 billion in revenue by 2018 as the bulk of the company's contract wins were secured through Yeoh's relationship with CRCC.
It will also pose a challenge for the company to achieve its target of RM600 million in revenue this year as construction projects are progressing slower than expected, the source was quoted as saying.
In a report, CIMB Investment Bank analyst Marcus Chan said the research firm "understands" that a transition plan is being put in place for Yeoh to remain within the group, with a less strenuous non-executive or advisory role.
Chan said that while the uncertainty around the group's leadership may mar sentiment in the near term, the research firm believes Vivocom's long-term prospects remain bright as Yeoh will still remain in Vivocom where his relationship with CRCC will still bring forth more contracts for Vivocom. Furthermore, Vivocom is expanding its business partnerships beyond CRCC, citing new a new partnership with Zhonghe Huaxing Development (M) Sdn Bhd, to collaborate on future construction projects.
Zhonghe Huaxing is a subsidiary of China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction Company Ltd, which in turn is controlled by state-owned China Nuclear Engineering Group Corp.
Chan also said Vivocom's RM900 million in new contract wins this year have been from non-CRCC clients, a testimony that it is not reliant on only CRCC for job wins.
He said the firm expects Vivocom to announce a bonus issue in July, and Vivocom's second quarter ended June 30, 2016 (2QFY16) results at end-August should continue the momentum of the strong earnings following 1QFY16's decent showing.
He said the earnings projection serves as potential re-rating catalysts for the stock.
"We maintain our 'add' rating on the stock, with unchanged sum of parts (SOP)-based target price (of 78 sen)," he said.
"We value the construction business at 10.5 times, based on a 30% discount to the average sector price to earnings ratio of 15 times, comparable to other pure contractors of this size and in line with the expansion in sector multiples over the past six months given the bullish outlook of the construction sector," he added.

Just one very basic and simple question for you. So this year, vivocom has won and obtained many construction jobs entirely in M'sia. Nothing gets done and delays of project deliverance will cause the company to incur losses since they are not experienced in constructions, just first year being a construction contractor. If I'm bluffing then nothing I've ever preached here for so long get published in reputable publications eventually. Pause and thing ya.
It doesn't stop there. 1 CEO left and the other veteran CEO leaving. No captain to steer the armada is just dangerous enough! Think carefully vivocom fellows.
