It sounds like both of you are successful/wealthy individual with tons of experience in market, but don't you think it is more beneficial to provide your detail analysis on AA share for the benefit of other people in this forum rather than just shouting to each other? Successful person so free to bite each other on forum day and night one meh?

If you think it is undervalue and will go up further, put down your points to support your buy call la.
If you disagree and think it is overvalue and people shouldn't chase it, put down your analysis also rather than just bashing people la.

so how? buy or sell and why?
Why some people said it will go higher?
Why some people said it is at premium now?

Please enlighten me.

Betkaukau, i meant the deal with BBAM that brings profit. I dont really think the latest deal of 25 aircraft will bring in additional profit to AA. If you read the MIDF research, they didn't revise their target price upward even if the 25 aircraft deal is in place. Think if AA sold the aircraft at fair price, what happen to the income statement is only shifting the depreciation expense to leasing expense. (Of course there are more thing like the cash can be used to settle borrowing which reduce interest expenses on borrowing, but I wont get into that)

Am still holding AA. Maintaining same holding as before the special dividends payment.

newinvestor17, while i agree Wei Wong is over promoting the counter, he don't deserve to be demoted by you as Rottweilers. You even verbally attack other people in the forum who "sounds" like him. Respect a bit la.

Betkaukau, i don't think buying an aircraft and sell to leasing company will make profit la. Last time AA profit by selling the whole leasing operation.

Pay attention from 24.50 to 25.10 in the video, i heard his name is being mentioned by TF for supporting AA

Aiya chillax, bought this share before the dividend payments and quite happy about it now. Still can't deny AA is one of the best company in Bursa at this point.

Look, there are good reasons to buy AA:
1) Strong management. They want market share during high oil price environment and they did it. (See Q3 revenue growth). They also fight with MAHB for a lower PSC which means they really care about their business
2) Low oil price now
3) Transforming into asset light business model
4) Cash rich
5) Good vision on digital strategy

Why market drop AA no drop? Wish to buy more at lower price point...

Come on man, revenue grow 6.6% proves that TF strategy to grow market share under high oil environment is working. AA still register positive operating profit given the peak oil price in Oct.

So what will happen in next few quarter under low oil price environment?

Lower special divided but the cash is still with AA for many other uses ok. Seriously dono what you guys think. Don't be sour just because you sold your shares today. I seriously dont think this is a "below expectation" results.
