DreamKaiser,did you watch the documentary films I recommended,a lot of archeologists from their digging of the ground supported the records of the bible like the ark,the huge gaints,the floods,etc.

History is written by non creditable men and can be changed but bible is written by 40+ creditable righteous people who are inspired by God The writers were of different generations and it took more than 2000 years to complete but from the 1st book to the last one it supports one another and didn't contradict.

Klu gua jd Saudi gov, gua wud not hv declared expanded production in the first place. It's a completely idiotic thing to do. And oil wud not hv crashed & wud still hv remained around US$100 today. What is so difficult about that.

You don't need rocket science to figure that out.

It's not about killing off rivals. That ain't how it works. It's about letting everybody hv a share of the cake. Becos the cake is big enough for everybody.

But Saudis were greedy. They wanted most of the cake for themselves only.

Come on la. Just call a spade a spade, dude. Saudis made a big & stupid mistake, as OPEC Chair, to announce revocation of limits on production. But they just don't want to admit it.

When price crashes, who will cut production? Nobody. Not even shale producers. They will just be pumping more & more to cover for revenue shortfalls. You just do your maths.

Now it's tough to get people together to agree on production freeze, becos nobody can afford lowered revenue.

When price is good, it's not that difficult to maintain price, just get everybody to agree production limits. But when price crashes, you throw a spanner into the whole works. It's tough to get it back up.

There is an ancient proverb, from no less than the Bible itself, which goes thus:
