Then new analyst reports will most likely start coming out end June / early July to start the ball rolling again and shoot up as it rolls towards announcement date.

freetospeak, don't waste your time with these guys trying to defend Supermax. Glove bull cycle is pretty much predetermined by market makers - when it goes up, when it goes down. Even without covid it would have gone up this year that's why many already vested before January. The fear mongers have a role to play - to shake out the weak, and to create profitable trade for the market makers so that they will continue to be incentivized to drive the bull cycle. What we do will not make much difference to the uptrend.

Kimgold, you also fear mongering in Comfort? I thought only in Supermax hehehe

95% growth is for Feb-Apr, May-Jul will see another double with higher ASPs. Thank the director for selling over the past few weeks to tame down the share price. If it was $4.2 with this result, there would be a selldown which they may not be able to recover from. With this result at $3, it doesn't seem unfair in view of future earnings. Should be able to move past $4.

Don't worry guys. Gloves bull run will last at least another 6 months or more. Even if vaccine comes out, there will be a short term panic sell but it will come back up because earnings are guaranteed to be good for the next 1-2 financial years

Those who can hold just wait out the panic selling today from those who bought high or take this opportunity to buy cheap. Normal glove bull cycle usually last 1 to 1.5 years. This is a SUPER DUPER cycle so it is definitely not over yet as we are less than 6 months in only.

Actually there're not much changes with the US covid19 cases... the new cases has been fairly consistent the past 2 weeks (still high 20k daily but gradually declining). It is just that the Dow Jones have shot up so much there's no where to go but down. So Wall Street just needs to come up with a story about the virus coming back to profit from a fall.

Those who bought gloves recently hoping to make a quick 5% profit without putting in capital - these are the people sharks will flush out this week. Those who can hold wait for all the re-rating news.

This is not the 2nd wave. Still 1st wave in the US, just that they did a sloppy job of trying to control it + reopening too fast + riots

It's ok, slow and steady better. Imagine if it goes up average 1% a day, it will already reach $12 in one month's time. Too fast too soon and will result in sharp correction. Also, this deters the contra buyers from leeching on hoping for a quick +5% profit.

Technically I think they can't buy if they know good results coming/share price going up as this would count as insider trading. If you saw Supermax case last week, directors bought before the margin finance correction.

Q1 and Q2 combined is only 228m. Balance for Q3 and Q4 ranges from 635-1143m. Q4 will be better than Q3. If you assume average of 1,058m... 230m for Q3 700m+ for Q4 is feasible assuming these analysts got their numbers within the ballpark.

RM25 TP is based on FY21 assumptions I believe.

They will definitely make 145m. Last year's projection already about ~140m each for Q3 and Q4. Question is whether will breach 230m i.e. +100% qoq

One may also see this differently. Usually if results bad, they (those with inside info) will goreng towards QR date to exit high first before it drops when results come out. Price could be depressed cos those with inside info spread fear and control price to collect low before good news come out.

I guess we will only know once result is out tomorrow.

I have just gone through the various analyst reports from Dec 2019 to current. Their net profit estimates for FY20 originally was around 400-600m between Dec-Mar. Only starting May it started to get revised upwards to 800-1000m.

Maybank in early May estimated FY20 net profit at 831m, then later in end May increased its estimate to 1,135m. For them to stick their necks out to increase their estimate by 36% barely a few weeks after the initial estimate tells you that either (1) they are very confident of their new estimate / there is strong evidence to make them change their minds (2) they are trying to defraud investors somehow by pushing up the price or (3) they are totally incompetent.

Which do you think it is?
