Long term : Speculative ratio. Long term % returns is better but on paper gain. Whereas, speculative returns is lower & holding to loses too. There I go, not enough discipline - should not hold losses....

Everyone got their own trading styles:

1) Day trade & contra play. (High risk)
2) Blue chips & dividend stocks only. (Low risk)
3) Hot counters only, cut on lost/gain TP. (High risk)
4) Mid to Long term investment irrespective lost/gain. (Medium risk)

Investment styles typically would suggests spreading out your risks i.e.
Dividend : High growth : Speculative (Example 1)
High growth : Speculative (Example 2)
Finance sector : Consumer sector : Trad. sector (Example 3)

At the end of the day, does one make money or not depends on can you keep that discipline?

Where is your satisfaction feeling would determine you risks appetite. One might forget the original plan in the quest of financial independence.

KLCI today's mart value >2bil. Big boys buying into big counters. When tis takes a breather, it will be penny stockes turn...watch...

If you key in say 1.5 mil lots then it's a different matter altogether. Then again your fingers must be super duper fast...
