If you checked all banks, actually all big banks in malaysia got huge (simply the biggest) volume done today in at least 52 weeks. Just that, some banks closed at breakeven instead of red. Most likely this is just due to that index change thing, FF had to sell regardless of fundamental.

once again, i like to compare it with Nestle as I think they are similar creature.
Nestle, 30x with 3.5% yield.
I'll give panamy a 40% discount to Nestle, that goes 18x.
my fair value for panamy is 39.88, 18x PE.

it looks quite possible. And it's very difficult for those who want to buy because of extremely limited liquidity. So they took the chance to easily pressed price down. When price goes really low, panic arise and sellers will appear. By then, even if they buy up and push price up, at the end of day it's still cheap.

This happened probably just because lack of liquidity. So fearful retail investors has no patient to see its poor performance, they cut loss to speculate other stocks, as they always do.

the warrant at current price has the lowest gearing ratio as compare to peers. For those matured in 2018-2020, consider malton and mahsing, they were around 60%. And matrix has been around 15%. Does Matrix this bad as compare to those other two companies? I doubt.

dividendenshark, if you had trading for few years and following cinb's report, you should understand massive change on valuation had been done many times on quite some stocks. And that won't damage their reputation at all, the same thing happening to entire world. ie. One of the largest bank, Goldman Sachs just recently upgraded gold price target and then in just 5 days time, they downgrade it and saying opposite comments. This is the reality, investment has never been easy.

have you guys read cimb's yesterday report on O&G? they have very heavy hands. Their TP can drop 70%-80% in one shot. Their TOP PICKs can change overnight with BIG TIME TP and valuation change. Do judge yourself, always. Do only take their report as information. Do not take their TP so seriously, do calculate out your own TP for all stocks.
