Im not too positive of prolong low oil price as it will damper our currency and ultimately result losses on FX. Maintaining at usd50-ish should be alright.

I have come across friend of mine is contemplating to purchase AA ticket flight from KUL to AKL (Auckland, New Zealand) instead of MAS. When asked, she said AA offers RM1.8k while MAS needs RM3k++. Despite the fact that limited seat space and no luggage/no meals, ppl tend to go for cheaper alternative.

It may not be able to answer your question with such simplicity experience, but my point being - AA - slogan (Everyone can fly) is the answer to MAJORITY malaysian. Imagine from just mere few fleets to become one of the biggest industries in airline, I believe MAJORITY malaysia still very much price conscious (due to our much lower income bracket compared to advanced countries). And if I ever put down my money in between MAS and AA. I would definitely go for AA for its relatively cheap air ticket.

Bear in mind that, while MAS still struggle for local market, AA is eagerly attacking ASEAN market and even trying to steal India, China, Europe, American and the rest of the world.

After Q2 result released, RM0.4x will be a history marked by AAX. Cheers!!

The laggard of AA shares largely due to market slowdown. Stay and you will be rewarded handsomely in coming quarters.

Perhaps, it's the changes of lifestyle. Ppl are willing to spend more compared to previous gen. Whatever, my point being, there are huge potential in this stock, ppl simply overlook this aspect and forgetting ASEAN is yet to saturate - a virgin market if you call. Just a thought, tony should be expanding their routes to Europe. So many youngsters (or hipsters) crazily desired to go to Europe such as Iceland, Norway, London, Paris and etc. Very huge potential for those places if Tony managed to scale to superb low price. Part of the reasons I park my money here is just..... too many ppl.... surprisingly willing to drain all their money, savings, for the sake of travelling, despite uncertainties of economy. U name it credit card debts, short term loan, FAMA etc and see how many threads posting in Facebook just to share the air flight ticket.

Haha thanks too them, AAX business module is sustainable. These ppl simply dun care what airline is it. So long it's cheap air ticket they will squeeze their belt to get there.

Radzi: If what you said is true then we should even stay longer. Big sharks are smart, they will never kill the Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs. Once all small fish are frightened and escaped, they will sail their way to higher price to lure new buyers come. I believe AAX will start moving once AA mother share raised to certain price (mother move before son).
