The distributer or retailer is the one who earn most in this crisis .when the oem manufactuerer increase price 30%...they will also increase price 30%.so obm price will also increase by 30% becoz every distributor will match the pricing.

Thats why i say b4...for us market...even rise usd300 per k...is not a problem...becoz it is still very cheap to them.

Qtr 4 revenue is 1315 mil by cimb
less 450m (350 x30% for additional volume n cost)cost x 0.75
= 648 mil

net profit margin is 49% for qtr 4.

thanks zzzz52...cimb fy2020 profit of 709m or 583m for qtr 4 make sense. Revenue for 2021 is a bit low but conservative. Even cimb thinks super max can acchieve 583m for 4th qtr. Thats very good news. They mus hav more updated info n dare to raise to 583m from 300m previously.

Their direct customer database had increased by leaps n bound due to this crisis.they cant do that in the past.but now they can becoz of this crisis creating high awareness to their product. They increase their obm to 95%,they streamlined their obm n greatly increase margin.it will bring great value to their company n shareholders.

Precovid...supermax did not streamlined their obm business.so contribution is not that significant.but now they hav already done that n its not the same obm as b4. The market will value this changes eventually.this change is permanent. Its a higher margin obm model compare to the past.

Their trading department will contribute significantly from this qtr onwards.the market will wake up to value this.

Prob...we still need profit to bak up.if super can prove with super profit.the price gap will close up naturally.jus like harta is closing up to tg again with its coming qtr.

So impact to current qtr profit is minimum.i hav given a much higher cost 15% to capture a higher expenses for higher sales volume n possible additional cost.do note operating at 95% will be very much cost saving n i din include that so its a balance off i believe.

Supersaiyan sifu...20% increase is for oem..obm player dun quote like this.supermax can raise their price much higher to their us distribution centre n distributor becoz its their own brand.

until mid of 2021 is too far to consider . Might or might not . Definetly will take profit along the way. Each qtr n each month is a different battle.

500m to 1b all are possible estimates. We will c harta result.if harta 500m. Super will be minimum 500m.

Thats why i hav been conservative on my calculation.its not that i dun wan to project a higher profit becoz we might misinterpret the ambiguos report.

I love all the different healthy calculation here . Better atmosphere. Actually all could be correct becoz it stems from the different interpretation from the same kungfu manual from supermax.
The grey area is the asp. Which resulted in the different profit projection.the management is not crystal clear about the asp.
The asp in the report could be an illustative asp base on the highest quoted asp (may b a us centrequote)on that report date. So our projection may go too high becoz many country asp may b only 40 to 50% of that.
Or.
The asp could b an average mean of all the country asp . Which then could be more accurate to project our profit.

There many ambiguos data given which might lead us way off or under calculate.

So in the above aspect.it would b safer to do projection on the safe side.if got 500 m safe projection it would b enuff to keep investor interested until the report is out . Currently they only believe a 300m profit .
