accounting is always about timing of value...it either make u account for more expenses now or later..in the end its the same...either make u realise more profit now or lower profit...most important is business is good..dividend incoming...low oil ..weak usd...better...

yes aa is modelled after the successful model of southwest airline n ryan air...but aa is more successful in some ways than them...the only thing need to catch up hugely is the ancillary income...southwest got 40% of revenue is anciallry...aa got a lot of room to catch up...

i can say next 10 yrs dividend of 40 sen annually is acchievable...10% yield if share is at rm4.00..but usually bursa dividend share usually only yiedl 6%..so its share shld be around rm6.00 ..

in 6 yrs time aa fleet will increase to 400 plus plane...enuff to generate eps rm1.5 n above...jus by 20% dividend policy is enuff to giv 30 sen dividend already...this is normal dividend not special dividend...

2 ipo in 2019 may nyse ipo for red ventures in 2020...plenty of assets to monetise..

with the 3.3 billion sales of 30 aircraft...aa cash pile will balloon to 7.7 billion...if aa decide to give 10 sen dividend each qtr ...enuff for aa to give 22 qtr = 6 yrs of consecutive 10 sen each qtr...lol..dun tell me aa not earning money for 6 yrs...no more asset to monetise...lol

even no special dividend...aa cash pile is enuff to giv normal dividend every qtr for 3 yrs...

becoz budget airline will tend to be in range bound for many years until they stop growing n their earning power is huge becoz their reinvestment slows down...they reapin in billions of cash every year for their shareholders..thats y their share starts to fly up...

thats why aa can sell so many plane becoz they already amass a huge assets class over many years of reinvestment...thats comon for airline like in ryan air n southwest...they remian rangebound trading only breakout in 2010 n beyond...n when they breakout their porice jump 3 fold...
