with 90% in majority hand..if the minority reject offer...it will be suspended due to public spread law...so minority hav to sell otherwise they will be not be able to trade their shares in future...either u sell to the majority or the share get suspended...

another case is petaling tin berhad...it is going to delisted after forceful takeover at unreasonable price..can the minority do anything...lol

dun take public spread issue lightly...this is an important annoucement...for the retailer

so bjland got 3 ending..1.improve threshold..2.privatise ...or 3. suspended til threshold improves...

n bjland already annouce to bursa they hav no concrete plan to improve threshold...leaving the 1st option out...

may b nothing is happening...but if VT keep buying...u hav to be alert...coz 10% threshold for public spread is pretty close...n dun forget hlcap is suspended at 18.7%...

so dun think the law protect the minority... it doesnt ....

minorrity dun call the shot in the price...it is the majority...if u dun like the price u can dun sell...but in this case when the public issue is so low...many will sell becoz of suspension...when VT got another 9% to reach 90% he can forceful take over...n minoriy hav no choice but to sell at highest price for the past 6 month which is 30 sen n below...

VT is betting that if u dun sell your share then he jus let it be..until one day suspend...then he will annouce privatisation...

of course if the foreign shareholder doesnt want to sell then it is possible the share will get suspended eventually ...so possible Vt is waiting for the foreign fund to sell their share...becoz no one want a share that doesnt pay dividend n suspended for trading...

in the case of hlcap...dr yu gather enuff 9% of shares enuff to block mr quek take over..n the shares becum suspended until now...the minority wins...but the share got suspend for trading becoz not enuff liquidity...

so if Vt offer to buy at 30 sen ...jus accept it..if not it will be suspened indefinietly becoz after general offer the spread will get worse like in the case of hlcap...dropped below 10%...

hong leong cap was a very good example...it was suspended in 2015 until now...lol..18.67%...but the bad thing is mr quek was not able to privatise it...lol

if he keep on buying everyday..the only way i c is spread drop to 10%...and if there is no concrete solution forward to sc ...it can be suspended even not reaching 10%...

according to law...bjland spread is now below 20% about 19.8.. when it reach 10%..it will be suspended for trading ..VT is reducing it bit by bit everyday towards 10%..lol..i dunno whether he want it to be suspended by force or delist it or try to improve the spread...so far i only c him buying millions each day...
