Each time glove share price also shoot up because they were 'fundamentally strong during pandemic'.
This is nothing new but glove share price always end up falling in the end. Why do you think glove companies were not top 5 largest just before covid? Because glove companies are cyclical in nature.
If you hold it long and after the glove season, I can guarantee you will lose even your pants

I have to admit that Stanley Thai is a smart man. He knows share buybacks are useless during glove downtrend. Market will sooner or later price all glove shares at least 50% lower.
Imagine you spend 500 million to buyback shares at RM8. Soon your share price falls to RM4 that means 250 million of profits just vanished like that. 250million is topglove entire 1st quarter profits! What fundamental value does it bring?
