The reason why there are so little supply of shares, so few sellers indicate that the big holders have advance knowledge about the potential of this IT project, that’s why they do not wanna let go even though their profit could already be 200% ....

We shouldn’t just look at the project that just got awarded, looking at long term, if their ERP works for Yess, they have a proven record, and others corporations might appoint them, 20mn GDV is merely the value for 5 retails, work out the math when they are appointed by top gun like Maxis, tesco, F&B industry etc.....

@edmund101 Honestly, I hardly set a TP for shares. I will follow up on on-going announcement, headlines, and technical research. But assume everything remains the same, I am optimistic and looking at 2. I do not have a timeline for this TP. but it's likely to happen in coming September 2017 given the momentum of the movement and the expectation on upcoming dividend. If they declare another round of dividend in Sept, it reaffirms the management commitment in complying the dividend policy and it's a breakthrough of the past trend for dividend distribution. As compared to the peers in the industry, Dufu's PE is relatively low and trading volume is relatively higher. Also, note that the demand for high capacity storage is increasing rapidly with the expansion of e-commerce and internet penetration globally. So, do vouch for my statements. And for those who are reading this, it'd be good if all of us can share information that can help us all make informed decision as opposed to making false statement and baseless speculation in this forum, I guess that is the purpose of establishing this forum, right?

it's important to note that the EPS 38 cents is calculated based on net profit of 6.3million. In actual fact, the total comprehensive income for the company is only 5.8 million (due to forex loss in investment). So the EPS is lower than 38cents. However, the performance is much better than corresponding quarter in 2016. If you look at the total comprehensive income for the same quarter last year, it was a loss of 5.9 millions due to the same reason. We should look at the total comprehensive income instead of the net profit after tax to see the true difference in the performance.

@kok leong chan bear in mind that the recent dividend of 3.5 cents per share is distributed for the FY 2016. the EPS for FY2016 was 0.1582, deriving only 13% payout, way below 50%.

@edmund soo thanks for the calculation. Your calculation for the EPS is for rolling 4 quarters but in actual fact annual EPS is calculated for 4 quarters within the financial year? Same goes for dividend, only 2 rounds of dividends were paid for FY 2016. First interim announced in September last year and final dividend announced in April this year. Both aree dividends paid for FY 2016. So if above is true, the payout is not 50%. My 2 cents.
