I plan to collect more until the next quarter result so this temporary set back in prices is ok for me like what mktwatch has pointed out. There are valid concerns raised by good hearted forum members but there are also parties keep bashing this counter without valid arguments which makes me wonder why. Normally people won't waste so much time here doing something not beneficial to them. The fact that they hand around so much show their deep interest in this counter. So ya, keep in coming but please be rational and don't get personal. Peace....

After reading hundreds of comments here I think all if not most of us agree that the management could have done better, much better in fact. They need a new strategy and direction as what they did before did not work out well. What I am betting on is its future rather than based on its past performance. The bottom line is, its confectionery business MUST improve......

I think heavyth meant the taste was good but just a bit too sweet lah. I thought the same too. Everyone has different level of tolerance towards sweetness lah. But I totally agreed that it tastes quite good and smooth........

I like the idea of selling chocolate which is recession proof. However, just tried Tudor and Tango for the first time and I think they are a little too sweet to my liking although I am sure there are people love it as it is. The Tudor is quite smooth. It would be good if the company considers a 'low sugar' version and they really should highlight the high cocoa content on the packaging since that is a big selling point.

The bod who approved the cash payout is still there. Although the cfo has resigned, under normal circumstances they should still uphold the decision made. Let's just wait until end of the month.

I like what the company does and will hold for at least another 2 quarters to confirm whether the company is turning around. I 100% agree that a cash pay out is a confidence booster to the investors but IF the 'promised' payout is not announced by end of this month, the management's credibility will be questioned by many. I think the management is well aware of that.

Agreed Kelvin, nobody likes uncertainties. I am not surprise if today's drop was partly due to the resignation of the cfo. I bought more today at 0.255 and will buy more if the price is right. I intend to keep for at least another 2 quarters to see whether the business is improving than will decide whether to keep longer. For now I like the idea of selling chocolates :) although its business model needs some fine tuning. I do agree that IF the cash payout does not materialize by end of this month, it will really hurt the investors' confidence...

Like all people here, we welcome very much all opposing views and 'constructive critisicm' as long as it doesn't target individuals. Everyone here buys and sells or stays sideline for different reasons so to me there is no 100% right or wrong. It's your money and there should not be any blaming. Bulk of my investment money is on this counter. Someone here mentioned why he bought this counter was because of the land sale although he sold all already because the price went up so much. To me, he is not wrong cauese it's his money but for me I am going for long term.
Now, just think about it. If 1 land sale could have such effect, imagine what would happen when the capital repayment and future sales could do? Now everyone is having doubt on this because it has not happened before but when people realize it is becoming a reality............ but let's not jump the gun too much. Cash pay out announcement is COMING WITHIN A MONTH thanks to Calvin's info. We will get a clearer picture of how the public judge this very soon...

Calvin, i am a long term investor too. To me, you are the most consistent and transparent forum member I know. Very patient too cause i think if for anyone else here to be treated the same way, we would not be so nice anymore.

Nobody can get TA right all the time. The best TA guy I know only aim to be right more than half the time. But by investing longer period in sound fundamental counters we will always be the winners because the price keeps going up and down all the time. I do admit TA does help in deciding when is the best time to buy or sell. With due respect and seriously no offence intended to all TA gurus.

The same person was telling people with different views off just a short few weeks ago when the price was going up. At that time, i kept seeing comments from him like... tomorrow got chance for new high, will hit 3*cents, will hit 40cents by end of the week blah blah blah. Today, the same person keeps telling people this counter got no hope, talks and writes to people nicely. To me I see only peraonal attacks and sarcasm in his own posts.

Ya member41. Although i do not hv any sumatec shares but my bp also shot up on the sideline :). Not sure about the performance of sumatec. Even if it is a solid company, the price makes it looks like a goreng company.....

I would prefer it slow and steady. Big up and big down will invite speculators and gamblers and discourage long term investing.
