PRECISION engineering firm UMS Holdings on Friday said its facilities in Penang can continue its operations amid Malaysia's ongoing movement control order. 

This comes as semiconductors are included in the Malaysian government's list of essential services that can continue to function till March 31, said UMS in a statement.

Yes, some really good news for semiconductors .. semiconductor is an essential services..hence is exempted from restriction on movement..

So many semiconductors companies can continue operation next week....its essential in the supply chain..

have to see the futures on Monday.....
maybe Friday a lot of ppl sell in dow jones due to they don't want to hold position..
but if Monday futures is positive or not so bad... it can rebound back on Monday for Dow

yes I think the boss or someone which is a major shareholder could have kena margin call...
recall the price has gone up so high...high valuation...mainly due to goreng..
so now is hangus time..they will get burn, the higher the price go up previously the more it will drop

the company will be affected by the lockdown and cant operate..
so it is very very bad news...

NEWS: SAUDI CONTINUE TO BOOST PRODUCTION HIGHER..
so not good for oil price and stocks

guys...dayang has about 1 billion share issued..
so maybe dayang is worth a lot lesser than now... maybe 50sen.…
which will put its mkt cap at 500mil..
need to factor in also the company debt and liability, aside from the huge number of shares issued..

worse case scenario is bankruptcy: if oil price low, the customer cancel or reduce contract, cant pay the liabilities and debt..->bankrupt....


we see during the last oil price downturn, a lot of the highly leverage oil and gas company go bankrupt...
plus now we have this corona virus and the low oil.. double whammy!!

I am not saying dayang will bankrupt.. but the risk is high now...

everybody knows dayang major customer - petronas will be impacted and will cut their capex...if oil price continue to drop to so low..now they say it could drop to the teens a barrel...

but kyy say that no impact to dayang... the logic is unsound...

a lot of students may now lose their scholarship money given out by kyy…
so a lot of then will not be pleased with kyy...as he whack all his money down the drain

if old man kyy didn't sell on the rebound, and silly enuf to hold on, I think he will lose big time...maybe ~$15mil of losses!
since now is BELOW his cost..

its only matter of time petronas cut capex..
its cheaper to buy oil direct from saudi or russia, than u explore and pump yourself..
so for those in the oil and gas service sector i think is gameover already

many oil and gas related company might go bankrupt if oil price stay at 30 or below 30 a barrel.. in particularly those with huge debt

this stock is priced high assuming they make perfect growth and profit... but now we know that supply chain impacted a lot of companies, so it will go down by a bit...

the final nail to the coffin is when petronas announce it will need to cut capex... since now oil price so low, no need to pump so much oil...
buying oil from other country like saudi is much cheaper than u drill and get that oil yourself...lol

so oil and gas is DEAD for now..

Kyy is likely a "winner", but not as much as he hoped...
While, the biggest "loser" shld be naim..
As naim owned ~26 % of dayang..which is worth about $800 mil if dayang were at $3..
Instead now its just $1.3 , now only worth around $350mil..
So naim on paper "lost" about $450mil in like a 30 days!

A cool sum lost in a matter of days..

Thats why i already kasi discount.. assumed he made $20mil instead of $80mil...
Then the $20mil minus a few mil for carimin and uzma losses.... so maybe $15mil profit ?
