KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry has awarded a RM18.7mil contract toDatasonic Group Bhd to supply and commission the hardware and software for the MyKad printing.

Datasonic said on Tuesday its unit Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhdaccepted the letter of award to undertake the project under phase two for the National Registration Department.

It said the contract was for one year, from May 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014.
