Another dull week I guess.........

My personal opinion is that current market is affected by the US market due to tapering which begin this month at USD 10 billion per month. I cant remember the total amount that the US govt committed to their equity and bond market. When this happen US investors overseas will sell some of their holdings overseas to cover the gap in US market. Consequently the USD will appreciate and the emerging countries like us, India, Thailand, Indonesia and Brazil currencies will depreciate. For those companies with costing based on purchases in USD will be effected thus the profit margin will be eroded. However if these companies are selling their goods and services in USD, it will somehow balance out. In case of Sumatec, if they could produce oil this month, they would have currency gain as the oil will be sold in USD. Also it it is true that their costing will be in USD but they had already cost in when they start to mobilize their operation for the last couple of months. If the the new management are good, they would had bought forward the USD for their operatilon costs. This is just my personal believed and with my limited knowledge.

Hensenmboy, yes we already know the plan and it was dated in June, so whats the fuss about it shown negative result up to September this year when the regularization take into effect after the rights issue. Do you expect the price to go up immediately after the regularization? Suma new business have to go through certain period before it could realize what they had forecast. Anything before that would be speculative, in my opinion.

People who do not understand whats going on in Suma please read what Rashid had posted.

Correct me if I am wrong, the report dated as of sept '13, therefore, this is before the new business being into effect thus it does not reflect the existing new shareholder inputs. If we talk about risk every share that we invest would also constitute as risk regardless of what counter we had invested. Businesses also has risks, its up to the investors to decide whether to take the risk or not.
