this company own beta bumi with 20,000ha timber concession area. base on current share price at 22cts, the market capital juz around 70mil, its really worth to hold for long term investment!

from my point of view, this stk can keep for long term investment, really not for short term player. pworth own Beta Bumi & holds a 20,000ha timber concession area in Sabah, Priceworth now has a total of 28,000ha where it will implement a sustainable forest management programme for 50 years.Pworth acquired Beta Bumi in January for RM25mil made up of RM2mil in cash and the rest in Priceworth shares.Really a bright future company

收购新公司圆木来源稳定　实值国际将有一番作为
(吉隆坡30日讯)经过一年亏损困扰后，沙巴的综合木材业者实值国际有限公司（PWORTH，7123，工业产品组）在其产品价格扬升下，以及致力栽种促进其本身的木材供应量，预料其财富将有一番作为。

执行董事古建文称 ，公司蒙受亏损主要是其下游产品如胶合板，锯材，胶合板和木材模具的原产品供运量短缺所致。

他称，自沙巴森林局（SFD)于2011年推出森林保护措施后，在过去约两年来，已使到该公司磨坊的产能不足30%。

“三年前，我们意识到我们将面临短缺，如果我们没有获得一个新的租界区。”

他称：“最终我们一间名为Beta Bumi私人有限公司形式做到了这一点，但执照的审批却被拖延。” 他告诉访问者称：“有关执照却被拖延一年才获得核准。”

实值国际是大马为数不多的全面综合木材经营者的其中一名业者，而它的圆木获得森林管理委员会（FSC）认可证。

实值国际是于今年1月份以2500万令吉价格收购了Betal Bumi，其中是以200万令吉现金来支付，另外，其余的股权是以实值国际来作为交换条件。

他称，他预料公司在截至今年6月30日为止的第4季度业绩中能转亏为盈，并指称，公司第3季度的业绩亏损减少，由一年前的2048万令吉大幅度收缩至156万令吉。

古氏称，公司亏损减少，主要是由于胶合板价格每立方米再逐步提高至550美元之间，以及生产成本降低和更优惠的汇率所致。

在截至今年第3季度为止，该公司的营业额收益较一年前微升，而由之前的3398万令吉增至3654万令吉。

他称：“我们冀望在2015年6月30日为止的下一个财政年会有更多的盈利收获。”

Beta Bumi私人有限公司在沙巴拥有20000公顷的木材特许权区，实值国际现在沙州拥有2万8000公顷的伐木区，并在那里可持续实施长达50年的森林管理计划。

有了这个森林补植任期牢牢掌握在手中，直到2063年，他称，现在很多有关原料供应的担忧已经缓解，并为圆木的生产用途带来稳定来源。

他续称，“我们可以每公顷种植625棵树。因此，平均来说，我们失去一棵树便可种植30棵的树。”

古氏预测全球木材价格会逐渐上升，并预料日本2020奥运刺激胶合板的需求。

他称，公司所面对的挑战包括燃料成本与劳动力成本上扬和即将于明年推行的消费税，并可以看到在备件和消耗品的成本增加了2%。

该公司股价最近交投活跃，今日收市时有1423万5200股转手，股价微软1仙挂22仙

3類鋼鐵產品反傾銷申請‧貿工部7月發調查問卷

（吉隆坡28日訊）馬來西亞鋼材五金商會會長黃漢川說，國際貿工部針對本地廠家提出對海關編號7208下的熱軋鋼、花紋鋼和酸洗塗油鋼鐵產品的反傾銷申請後，將於7月2日發出調查問卷。

他希望那些有進口這些鋼鐵產品的會員商家關注此事，做出適當的反應，並呼吁有意在這時期進口這類鋼鐵產品的會員，謹慎處理，以免需要付出額外的反傾銷稅而招來損失。

他日前在該會代表大會致詞時也說，貿工部設立馬來西亞鋼鐵研究院（MSI），旨在研究如何提昇我國鋼鐵業的發展及競爭力。

他說，這是一項非常好的舉措，能夠非常透明的將上、中及下游鋼鐵業聯繫起來，全面探討如何提昇國內鋼鐵的發展與競爭力、開發新的市場，增進三方業者的合作，以期達到一個健全的鋼鐵業。

禁羅里拉箱運載要求延至年杪

針對最近陸路公共交通委員會取締及警告業者，從7月1日開始，不再允許羅里以抽屜拉箱來運載超長的鋼材一事，他說，在該會的安排下，已經聯合了五金總會的代表，會見了交通部技術部門及執法組主管，並書面要求這名主管，要求將在預定7月1日實行的禁令，延至年尾。

另外，大會通過4項提案：

1.呼吁政府不要採取各種非關稅措施以保護本地鋼鐵廠。建議以其他方式如津貼或輔助來支持本地鋼鐵廠，加強其競爭力，以面對來自國際的強力競爭；

2.要求國際貿工部和大馬建築工業發展局（CIDB）慎重考慮只是在工廠或工地實施鋼材的檢驗工作，免除或簡單化進口的檢驗程序，避免雙重的檢驗工作和成本負擔；

3.要求交通部允許羅里繼續以抽屜式後箱，運載規定的超長鋼材；

4.呼吁政府在實施消費稅的同時，也降低公司及個人所得稅徵收率。（星洲日報）
