艾力斯在上周二（26日）与所罗门群岛政府，签署了为期20年的兴建营运转移（BOT）协议，为当地建立电子护照与边境管制的资讯与管理系统，合约总值2200万美元（约9265万3000令吉）。

然而，目前艾力斯面对来自其他政府滥用该公司独家技术的问题。

早前，美国政府在2006年允许日本航空（JAL）在美国机场执行政府合约以外的活动，即使用艾力斯的电子护照专利来进行商业用途，触犯了美国法律。

美国联邦法院在今年10月21日裁决，艾力斯可通过美国法律起诉美国政府，该公司正计划控告对方。

除了护照的电子辨识业务，艾力斯的房产业务也如火如荼，在巴布亚新几内亚大展拳脚。

巴布亚新几内亚的290间有地别墅，将在2016财年下半年动工。

“我们去年已推介这项楼盘，但还没开始兴建，因需要先得到融资。现在，马银行给予我们的2000万美元（约8583万令吉）贷款已在手上。”

陈斯任相信，这次再获得入围最高奖项，可见安永在一定程度上，肯定他与公司的表现。
