世紀軟件以24.5仙開市，漲3仙，至休市時攀升至25仙，竄升今日第3大熱門股；截至4點半，世紀軟件掛25仙，漲3.5仙（16.3%），成交量2790萬2800股。


根據馬證交所報備文件，世紀軟件截至6月底2017財年首季營業額為6252萬令吉，相比去年首季3405萬令吉，大漲83.62%；首季淨利更從83萬8000令吉飛躍至3569萬3000令吉，漲幅達到4159.31%。

展望2017財年接下來9個月的業績，該公司認為仍能跟隨市場成長有鼓舞人心的表現；在充滿挑戰的環境下，世紀軟件也正在重整營運資公司的業務以達到成本效益和更好的人員執行力。

The Company is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has received a Letter of Award ("LOA") dated 12 August 2016 (Ref No.: MAMPU.BKP(S).400-10/4/66(26) on 23 August 2016 from Unit Pemodenan Tadbiran Dan Perancangan Pengurusan Malaysia ("MAMPU") for a project named " Membekal, Menghantar, Memasang, Mereka Bentuk, Membangun, Mengintegrasi, Menguji dan Mentauliah Sistem Aplikasi, Perisian dan Perkakasan serta Menyelenggara (dalam tempoh waranti) bagi pelaksanaan projek national registries yang merangkumi repositori dan registri pendidikan nasional, registri penduduk dan hab perkongsian maklumat sektor awam (MAMPU/PERKHIDMATAN/3/2016) " for a total contract sum of RM15,419,820.00 ("the Project").

The tenure of the Project is for a period of 18 months starting from 26 August 2016 to 25 February 2018.

The Project will not have any material effect on the issued and paid-up capital, substantial shareholders', net asset per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries ("Censof Group").

Bearing any unforseen circumstances, the Board is of the opinion that the Contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share and the future earnings of Censof Group.

Censof does not envisage any risk factor arising from the Contract besides business risk. However, the Company will continously be taking appropriate measures to manage and mitigate the risk.

None of the Directors, its substantial shareholders or person connected with the Directors and substantial shareholders of the Company have any interest in the Contract.

The Board, after considering all aspects of the Project, are of the opinion that the Project is in the best interest of Censof Group.
