潮成资本（TEOSENG，7252，主板消费品组）作为一只马股为数不多的纯鸡蛋股公司，近期受到饲料价格上扬以及外汇盈利减少拖累，其第三季获利按年大跌52.81%，其股价也一度跌破1令吉心里水平，但后来市场迅速反应，投资者趁低吸纳，在1月又再度回升至1令吉以上水平。

该公司获利表现和鸡蛋价格息息相关，根据大马投银一份在6月的报告，若鸡蛋价格每下挫1分钱，则会使潮成资本减少100万令吉收入。除了价格波动外，气候异常炎热也导致了鸡只产蛋量减少，这也是潮成业绩不佳的原因之一。

不过，巴菲特名言“别人贪婪我恐惧，别人恐惧我贪婪”也可能在此处派的上用场，虽然潮成资本的业绩暂时看起来不太好，但都是属于外围因素非战之罪，同时股价已经出现修正，该公司的营运表现向来都受到各大投行所褒奖，内部营运仍然强稳，相信假以时日必有所表现。

长期陷入亏损陈兄弟格尼（DBE，7179，主板消费品组），在猴年终于重新振作，进军餐饮业，与外部公司联营推出名为HARUMi品牌的炸鸡贩卖亭，并打算在500个贩卖亭、50辆移动餐车及5间餐馆。

除了进军餐饮业外，该公司在去年也获得肯德基颁发总值5000万令吉鸡只供应合约，预料会对2017年获利表现有正面影响。尽管其截至2016年9月30日止的第三季已经从前期净亏288万，转为净赚32万5000令吉，首九个月也净赚118万3000令吉，但其公司是否已经走出幽谷，仍难以判断，但与去年比较无论其财务或营运都有了显著改善。
