Good day to clear off short term traders. Keep calm, long term investors. With more construction and infrastructure projects happening in Malaysia, the demand for steel will still be there.

[BEIJING] Top Chinese government officials and steel executives met in Beijing on Monday to discuss the challenges in cutting overcapacity in the steel sector, according to a statement posted on the website of China's state planner on Tuesday.

The government will continue to implement measures to cut overcapacity, including tackling zombie firms and prohibiting low-grade steel production, it said.

Government agencies present at the meeting included the Natonal Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and the banking and securities regulators.

After 2:1 bonus issue, you will have extra half the shares you are now holding at at (*2/3) price.
Eg.
Rm3.00 each with 100 shares
will become
Rm2.00 each with 150 shares

The total amount remains at rm300
Bonus issue reduces each share price to half of its previous value, making the stock more liquid.

Since Evergreen has a good record from its latest Quarter Report and export stock is still the theme for our Malaysian market. Mid to long term investor could still hold their stocks.

This will benefit Poh Huat. Poh Huat is a company which most of its revenue comes from export market. Together with the better pricing brought about by the stronger US Dollar
against the Ringgit, we expect to see better performance from Poh Huat.

Quarter report should be released somewhere around 20+ of November, 1 month to go. With previous report usd/myr at around 3.70 while next report (for July to September) around 4.20. One can say EPS result is likely to perform better.
