damagpie : You are right. I have re-read the whole proposal . PJDEV shareholders who are taking the offer to convert to OSK shares are NOT entitled to the Dividend and Warrants. They do not intend to take PJDEV private. Thanks for pointing out and correcting my statement .

Currently it's a prefect timing for your to accumulate . Scenario A. you accept the RM 1.60 cash offer. Scenario B . you can accept the 5:4 OSK shares and wait for RM0.15 dividend and also the Warrant . If Market is bad . Scenario A will yield 6% within 6 months (1% percent a month) , If Market is good Scenario B can make up to 20-25% .. For fellow investors to consider

Distribution should be RM 2.69 based on the (RM1,562.8 million - RM 33 million) . Note that RM369.9 million has been set off from the total Sales Proceed as part of the distribution for 19.92% shares held by Seek. There should be another dividend for the 3 months accounts due to the delay in CSC assessment. All in all it should be RM 2.72- RM2.75 (if we set off the treasury shares).

Well apparently they have sold some of the shares that they are holding - refer to my post . Jobstreet owned more than RM190 Mil worth of shares overseas . The biggest being 104 Corporation in Taiwai which they owned almost RM100 Mil worth of shares. http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/3130:TT . Read the Jobstreet annual report .

Lew : Scenario B ) Guys, I did some calculation on the intrinsic value of Jobstreet, seek your view. Post disposal of Jobstreet's core business , the company is left with (i). 7.63 Million Shares of 104 Corporation (3130.TPE) worth approximately RM109 Mil (ii). 26.2 Million Shares of Cinderella Group (550.HKSE) worth RM14 Mil, (iii). 54 Million Shares of 1010 Printing (1127.HKSE) worth RM24 Mil (iv) 29 Million Shares of Innity Corporation with RM10 Mil (v) 5 Million Shares of AsiaTravel.com worth RM 3.3 Mil. These shares listed in various countries together with the Short Term Investment and Mutual Funds that it owns comes up to approximately RM190 Mil based on my calculation. If we divide by share cap of 700 Mil , This alone comes up to 0.27 a shares . Assume that post dividend paid out the the share is worth RM0.1 or less, I don't mind paying RM 70Mil for a PN17 company that's worth RM190 Mil (Excluding Property, Other Operating Companies etc).

I guess the strategy for everyone should be as follows if we want to maximise profit and you are not in need of cash -

Step 1. Wait for the capital repayment of RM2.62 or RM 2.65 (inclusive of treasury shares) , the company has given very clear timeline which is by 4Q 2014, from there you should have recoup your capital plus profit.

Step 2 . Hold the shares till the next phase , there are two possibility A) New business injected B) Distribution of remaining assets (refer to my earlier post) of how the RM 0.4 was derived. In scenario A , you should get more than RM 0.4 and in Scenario B we get at least RM 0.4 .

Government of Singapore is holding almost 30% of Hwang, rumours has it that Singapore government intends to move those funds out from Malaysia. Very soon Hwang will declare a bumper dividend as it's very unlikely that Hwang will get license to operate any Financial Institutions in Malaysia . Stay tuned ! NTA is around RM3.03 ..We are co-investing with Ministry of Finance of Singapore

Agreed with Shinando that upon ex-dividend, Jobstreet would be definitely be above RM 0.1 - RM 0.27 . Well , since the company becomes a listed "shell" technically, another possibility or catalyst would be a RTO. Imagine that myTeksi/grabCab is injected into the shell .. it will be another RM1.8B valuation. Happy investing..
