What do you mean losses? 1st quarter register 5cts profit. 2nd quarter will register 13cts profit. Increase of 100%.

With AAX alone, AAB losses is RM65 milloin. PLUS Wrong Fuel Hedging and
USD appreciation....Loan & spare Parts.

My pessimistic Calc is 120 millions Losses.

AAX is a mistake, It will never make profit, ever. I am sure of that. Extended range budget airlines will never turn, there is no frequency flight to begin with. Tony should delist and close AAX as soon as possible.

Wait for today's quarter announcement. It definitely show 100% increase in profit.

I think this is the best time to buy AirAsia. I believe 2015 will be record 4 quarters of profit as long as fuel below $50.

AAX has always been losing entity. Do separate AAX as it was since inception. Some related to AAB only if making losses especially at current time. But legally, AAB and AAX are separate entity.

Throughout 2015, fuel price is sub $50, 1st quarter register 5cts profit, and my assesment is 2nd quarter will see 13cts based on previous data of AirAsia. My take is profit will see drastic increase of 100%. And that's why i am betting on AirAsia. And the 5 year low price is a bonus for me with 30% margin over net asset.

Refer to financial data 2014 and 2008 to see impact of $100 fuel price.

I think you got it all wrong. at $200, AirAsia will suffer total loss

With current low fuel, i think AirAsia is doing away with no hedging, don't you think so?

And i believe AirAsia will do away with hedging as oil expected to tread lower.

As i recall, AirAsia was suffering in 2014 due to surging fuel cost. And AirAsia increase it's hedging to 50%. But sudden collapse of oil price bought hedging below 50% few months ago

Fuel hedge only cover 3 months schedule, are you sure there's year long hedge?

AAB receive advance payment from it's customers. So how can AAB suffer losses for lower fuel cost?

As of January 2015, fuel price drop to $50, are you sure AAB still using $80 hedge?

Can you tell us the amount of dollar loan, USApg? And can you give us data on lower fuel will make AAB suffer?

If you look at AirAsia financil from 2009 until 2012, AirAsia profit were quite impressive given oil price below $80. I believe 3 quarter will be much more impressive given oil price already dip below $50. Wait for tomorrow announcemt, i think i am right.

What made me decide to buy AirAsia is because of the low fuel cost. If you care to examine AirAsia track record, you will find AirAsia suffer losses during high fuel cost of 2008 and 2015. As for AAX, again, let me remind you that extend range budget airline will never work due to less frequency of fights. Example, KL to and fro Kuching 3 times a day on same plane but take only 1 flight from KL to Mumbai. It will never generate enough profit.

I already knew that extend range budget airline will never work and proven so with AAX. AAB is short range budget airline, it will always make profit.

AAX and AAB are two separate entity with separate listing. Do not bring AAX here, I know AAX having financial problem and i have done my research. AAB is a healthy entity. Wait for tomorrow announcement.

I bought back Takaful together with AirAsia yesterday.

Yes rich, quarter result will be out tomorrow. No, actually based on lower fuel charges, contributing 60% of AirAsia operating cost, profit will double.

I am interested to buy AirAsia but rather wait for quarter result out on 21/08/2015 first. If the result show improvement, i shall sell my takaful as replacement.

I have advised earlier not to buy Bimb but invest in Takaful....if you need to invest in Bimb, wait for financial report coming out on 28/8/2015

I already mention to buy Takaful not Bimb. Those who bought Bimb will be disappointed. Bimb won't merge with Mbsb. Mbsb already decided to buy another Islamic bank.

Takaful is better than Bimb. Bimb will go down to 4.00 again. At 4.20 it is very high.

It's better to buy Takaful. Merger is off. If you want to buy Bimb, wait for it to go down to 3.80
