Mm...that I agree. PE is still low and offers plenty of headroom for further share price appreciation .

But if you look at Kim Lun, PE of 4.+, Plenty of headroom for them to go up. But PE just tells you about profit (PnL) side but not the balance sheet side. Kim Lun is loaded with plenty of debt. Another thing is that Kim Lun accepts works from private sectors compared to Gadang which is mainly government works. But Kim lun's strength comes from their concrete manufacturing . This will provide then consistent cash flows.

Trailing PE can be based on the quarterly results.
At current price ...PE almost 10.
Meaning on a profit growth point of view, the company is fairly valued.

Needs Gadang to bring in more profit for share price to further increase. At current PE 10, limited headroom.

Don't shiok sendiri leh....last time Gadang spike up due to partnership with DWL - got rumor that they will win multi billion contract ...end up now, DWL is in the drain with share price at 20cents...and Gadang is suffering from Fair Value losses / write down....

All these rumor ...better take it with a pinch of salt leh...

In the quarterly report, Gadang has mentioned the construction division is foresees difficulties in securing construction contracts leh ...due to limited jobs going around with too many competitors...

Actually, next quarter may report a loss because they have cumulative one month of work...(first 2 weeks of Mar and last 3 to 4 weeks of May). Then, the Fair Value loss arising from write down of investments in DwL. Hopefully, their Singapore venture will bear fruits.

Profit will be higher if the group has not invested in DWL. Now that the chairman of DWL has bugger off, Gadang maybe better off to write off the entire investment in DWL. Until today, I cannot figure out why they invested in DWL.

Bro....Q3FY20 has not factor in the MCO. MCO commences in Mar2020 whilst the QTR ended on Feb2020....

The real litmus test will be for Q4FY20 (from Mar20 to May20) whereby the MCO would run its course. I suspect Gadang will report less than RM10M profit.
