our market close is not an issue. The important is point of control for the average price has been steadily increased despite the drop (just pull up volume profile and you can spot them easily).

Like I said recently, on an uptrend, intraday swing to low is not abnormal, it doesn't change the mid-term uptrend context.

It's not a rejection, it's a distribution to square the imbalance between USD and XAU. Once it's done in about 1-2 trading days, XAU will continue the upward trend to break recent high of 2075.14 (XAUUSD, not gold futures)

It's always alright to do short-term trading through buying and selling at smaller spread. However, this will fuel the stock price higher due to the uptrend momentum of gold atm (may it be XAUUSD or GC-ZG contract)

Anyway, those who sell too early will tend to jump back in and then fuel the price higher until there is a balance between. Price will go sideway, then slightly dip, then resume the uptrend.

The common mistakes of short-term traders are they will miss serious profit from swing trade.

As far as the momentum of uptrend is concern, swing trade on this stock is better at this point.

and btw, there is nothing much investors/traders (speculators) can do except divert their portfolio into gold-related stocks in Malaysia. Because if you put your hard-earned cash into KLCI put warrant and hoping it will gain value when the index goes down, you are burning your cash. It's not even meant for intraday, just a crocodile pit to lure those who thought they are smarter than average traders. You won't be able to find your bones if you stay with that warrant for too long.

Just remember one golden rule:

During the bull phase of gold, the extreme pullback intraday is a commmon sight. It doesn't change the major trend direction.

Basically the only important narrative from the Fed statement is this: "The Fed won't hike rates if and when the economy overheats and inflation rises".

Which means they will use whatever monetary policy to support the upcoming economic contraction.

One should be thinking: hey! that means dollar is going to devalue from today onwards, lets buy gold!

BUT, what you think is correct until the market corrects you. And right now, market is showing the gold believers they are wrong by chewing up bulls' stop loss. With Algos moving concurrently, the sliding towards 1900 is imminent. However, once it's over, you will notice the spring coil effect again. This time, it won't stop at 2080 anymore.

Be patient.

Gold bears are having their last shot on the bulls by slamming the fuel when it hit 1986.70 just now . From the current formation, it looks like a massive short squeeze is forming into next week. Stay tune, have more patience.

The stronger the suppresion, the stronger the bounce it shall prevail. Patience is a virtue.

The overbought pressure on gold has been released hence it's ready to resume the uptrend. During uptrend, massive intraday 3-5% plummet is an usual sight.
