I know I will need to pay stamp duties but what about the 6% GST, is it exempted? So far, I haven't come across any article in the newspaper that share trading is exempted from GST.

Sometimes, I wonder what would happen when GST is implemented on 1/4/2015. Would there be a terrible crash on the Bursa since the commission and GST will cost some 6.6%. If share trading is not exempted from GST, then one must make at least 6.6% before he or she can even breakeven. Correct me if I am wrong.

4u2c, my treatment of the RM1.2 B order over a period of 3 years may or may not be correct. This is only what I thought assuming the projects take 3 years to complete. The period may be shorter.

I hope some stockists, speculator, investors or sharks will push the price of Zelan to 50 cents prior to the release of the quarterly result in November.

I guess normally it will take about one to three years to complete the projects. So, the RM1.2b may be spread over a period of 3 years perhaps.

I am not a speculator. Neither am I an investor. But by looking at the share price going up without selling it off and subsequently plunged doesn't make any economic sense.

Xdar, u r not the only one dumping so much money in Zelan. I am also one of them. But I have no choice now. Since I am not in need of money, I got to hold it until it rebounce to a level higher than before. So long that Zelan's financials are not weak, I believed thiz counter is not hopeless.

I think the current right issue proposal has messed up the market sentiment on this counter.

What is the benefits of buying this counter when after the dividend of RM2.62 (approximate) is paid and the share drops to 0.08 cents? Not to mention if there is a tax on the RM2.62 dividend. In such a case, would this counter be goreng to at least RM3-00 and above before ex-date if the proposal is approved?
