Guys, let me share some thought here if you don mind. A friend of mine is currently attached to AirAsia finance department. Here is what she told me.
AA has a lot of back logs problem and double pay issues (meaning their finance are sometime overpay their vendor and sometime didn't pay their vendor). So it is very common for AA to get penalty from their vendors.
Why is AA quarter report so great for passed few quarter?
AA business of nature is taking the money from the customer in advance and provide the service later. And AA need to keep expanding their business to open more routes and offer for advance tickets selling to sustain the cash flow.
The summary is, if AA is keep expanding and keep listing their AA indo and AA phillipine, then the burble will not burst so fast as their keep getting huge amount of advance cash from the customer/investors. AA cash flow is strong in that term.
However, if AA get hit by any shrinking in the business, and due to the inefficiency of their backend operation departments, then they will sooner get cash-flow issue.
I'm not saying that AA counter will stop surging, just to share what I had learnt from my friend who worked for AA. AA need to keep expanding to keep their cashflow significant, however if anyone of their expansion plan doesn't work up as their plan, then we will see a very huge impact to AA's account. Don forget our great government just forced AA to buy new flight from, which added extra burden to AA.
AA may still continue to grow, however just be careful that AA is actually sitting on the "advance cashflow" from their customer and investor. My friend told me that if you see how's their finance department work, then you will never want to invest in AA.
Anyway, just buy at your own risk. I just share my thought.

I noticed that more and more fund are buying in Insas. Let me share you guys something. Few years ago, when inari was still a penny stock (below RM 1), the share price only climb up very slowly day by day. However, after she reach Rm 1 ++, fund manager started to pump in their investment (don ask why, every funds have tight rules, one of them saying that fund managers are not allow to buy any penny stocks, they must buy counter that is stable enought). Once fund managers started to come in, I saw Inari price surge from RM 1.10 to RM 2.30 in less than a month.
I somehow notice something very similar to Insas today. So it is your call guys. Buy now or later. Good luck.

Sslee, again thanks for that. After read through all your questions, no doubt most are very constructive, however there is statement that I truly not agree and will never suggest you to put it there in your questionnaire.
We say good thing about ppl, but should not say bad thing about Tan Sri Vincent T. As what I can remember, Dato T and Tan Sri VT used to be seated in the same board room for a company before (I couldn't remember which one, might be Berjaya Groupmany many years ago, or I could be wrong). He could be friend with VT in person or VT could be his sifu on financing/trading. Hence, I personally feel that that's quite risky to bring that out as an example.
However, it had happen, let's hope that this wouldn't bring any negative impact to the shareholders. Pray that Dato Thong is not good friend but an enemy to VT.
Lastly, thanks again for your indeed very great contribution to the shareholders. God bless you...

simon is right. Imaging after delist, the major share holder actually hold more than 75% of the HOVID shares, if they want to give dividend or bonus, HSS will be the party who gain the most. We small shares holder can enjoy a bit also la on top of that..
The only differences is just i can not sell my share in public market only lo, but I still a HOVID shareholder. Added to the above, I don need that money invested in HOVID for living now ma, so I don care to take the money now but take more later.

I will still hold if they go delisted. I strongly believe that they going to go list again after 2-3 years after delist. At that time, the premium should be higher and whatever you hold today going to worth more.
The moment when I buy in HOVID, I decide to hold it for more than 4-5 years. So there give me no differeces whether HOVID is listed or delisted.

haha, linges, I'm also an engineer by the way. Also, to clear the doubt from some of the members here.
Will INSAS goes privatize since it is so undervalue?
To me, I will be happy if DTT willing to privatize it now. When you want to take over the company, you need to offer a price that is higher than NTA. Today INSAS NTA stood at RM 2.41 (yet to consider the actual value of INARI). So imagine if they offer you Rm 2.70 for mothershare and Rm 1.90 for WB. If DTT want to privatize it, I will be the first one who sign the agreement form and I will drive to KL Insas's registra office to hand over the form to them in person on the same day. In short, I don think DTT will privitize Insas for now.

Ok, now I think I got what you trying to say. I aware of that actually, but I prefer to look at it as full picture in year instead of just a quarter. Cause we all know that Insas is super undervalue couter. With Inari shares alone, it will translated into RM1.70+ per Insas shared (If insas sell all inari share). Not to mentioned OMESTI, FYS, HOHUP and others.

Alkwong, sorry, I don quite understand your question.
From my own study related back to the Insas history movement (I had been holding INSAS for many many years), I believe the INSAS might go down as low as 0.88 (the lowest I can predict), WB should be around 0.26 (lowest). I could be wrong. Then if turn around, WB should hit 0.90 or more. Again, I could be wrong, but mark my word.

We all know you hold Insas shares and definitely there are group of ppl will come and say bad about it (actually I got no idea why, plenty of counters in Bursa but they choose to come here). Perhaps, you should watch this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKjW1OIjuw
The best way to stop it is trying to nice to them. Haha.
When I bought Insas WB at 0.16-0.18, even my father said I'm crazy to pay for 40%+ premium. And he bought the mother share instead at 0.6x. Turn out I made 100%+ gain and he regretted. So just trust yourself, you got nothing to prove to the others. The money will go in your pocket, not their pocket, just let them be and say whatever they wanted. Remember, 90% of ppl loss money in stockmarket because they treated it as a casino instead of investment.
Also, I would like to thanks to those who shares valuable information here like the associate company policy etc.

I curious why ppl said this quarter result is not better than 2016.
I did a quick analysis based on the cash flow of this quarter.
https://imgur.com/a/7iBwj
To me, Insas is making more money from last year (except selling less Inare shares). With 335.7m cash in hand, which translated into roughly 50sen per Insas shares (of course not forget the total liabilities RM 631m).

Penguindad is right. Assuming that HSS willing to convert all his Warrant into mother share. He is currently holding 65.24%.
My personal view is: it is very unlikely HSS to get 90% in this cases. Even 75% is quite unlikely base on my calculation.
Few facts till date:
HSS is currently holding:
455,265,039 units or 55.46% of HOVID
230,846,595 units or 71.64% of HOVID warrant
Open shares still floated in the market:
365,623,961 units of HOVID
91,384,834 units of HOVID warrant
He has two choices to reach 75%.
1) Purchase another 102,690,062 mother shares from the market or from willing seller at 0.38. We still have 365,623,961 units of shared that not owed by HSS in the market. He still need to secure 28.08%+ from the 365,623,961 units to reach 75%.
2) Buy more warrant since warrant shareholders are more likely to sell to him at 20 sen due to the expiring date. However, we only have 91,384,834 units warrant left in the market (not in HSS's hand). Assume that HSS manage to get 100% of all the warrant in the market and convert every single of them to increase his stack. He only manage to get 68.02%. To get 75%, he still need to top up another 79,843,854 units of mother share, which representing another 21.84% from leftover mother shares in the market.
In short, HSS need to convince at least another quarter (25%) of mother sharesholders who still NOT considering to sell him at 0.38 for him to get 75%. That's the case for 75%, it seem difficult to me unless he is willing to increase the asking price. For those who willing/wanted to sell, already sell. Those who hold will never sell him I guess.
Not accurate but just anatomy, HSS need to ask 1 from every 4 HOVID shareholder to sell him to get 75% now. Likely or not likely? Still, I'm not selling to him at 38sen.

I think what leno trying to means here is this coming quarter or until early of next year, INSAS should still doing good and will trying to realize the massive gain before the new rule coming in. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Only manage to get 55% and 71% WB. I understand those who hold WB are desperate to sell because the expire date. Good job for all the HOVID sharesholder, 55% still far from their target, let them increase their asking price. On 2nd of December, they might only get 56% cause those who willing to sell already sell, regardless how long they postpone due date, they not going to get what they wanted at 0.38. Together, we can be stronger small sharesholder.

2017-11-17 09:39 | Report Abuse
I think this round of Quarter report should still look good. I think Dato T will not so stupid until sell so much of his shares, and release a bad report. SC will invite him for coffee.
The reason why Dato T just sell his direct portion of shares might be just to clean up the "conflict of interest" stuff. As I mentioned previously, I was Inari share holder for more than 4 years. Around 3 years ago, AVAGO was one of the main Inari shareholder, then in one particular month, AVAGO suddenly started to sell their Inari shares which cause INARI share drop like no tomorrow. Loser will be always loser, losers were complaint and gave all the so call "professional" view in this i3 forum, said that "even AVAGO also not trusting INARI" etc. Somehow, INARI is hitting their historical high today. Everyone know that AVAGO was and still the biggest business partner with INARI. The reason they (AVAGO) sell INARI share was mainly to clear out them from "conflict of interest". When you hold a share in your subcon company, and you give them significant amount of projects, this will trigger the conflict of interest issue.
Hence, this round, huge selling by Dato T may not means that the company is doing badly, it is just for the same reason or some reasons that only he know. Or maybe he need to release some shares to the public/fund manager to create the liquidity. If he sell the shares at 0.34 average to the fund manager, then the fund manager can help him to fried the shares up to 0.7x, Dato will still earn with his existing shares. This is how rich ppl making money, they use others' money to make them rich, poor ppl use their own money to make money. Rich ppl buy value stock from poor ppl, rich ppl buy value stock at low price, poor ppl complaint the price is too high when the counter goes up, complaint about the management again when the price goes down and dare not buy. End up, rich ppl getting rich, poor ppl keep complaining here and there.

The revenue is higher as compared to previous year. However operating expenses also higher as I expect they need to pay double pay for those OT shift workers as the manufacturing lines need to operate 24 hours to chase back the production.
MOST importantly, it is profitable now, I expect the operating expenses will go down once the production lane stable down.
Still, RM 0.38 NO SELL...

Worry not for Dato selling la. Insas used to own Inari 30%++. They keep selling Inari shares until now 20% left. However, Inari shared keep surging up like no body business (due to the sustainable business growth). Hence, I believe that Dato is trying to release some shares to the open market to create liquidity. With stronger EPS, Insas shares should be going up with better liquidity. It is always not a good news when majority shares are hold by the major shareholder. Look at Public bank, how much Tan Sri THP hold?

Let me share the reason why I buy HOVID, even at this so called peak season of stock market. Even that during the crisis, maybe next year or maybe iin 2019, I believe that HOVID going to do well.
Just amazing that you are head of procurement in a clinic or a hospital. During the economy crisis, your department will definitely get headcount or expenses cut. So when you get expenses cut, what will you do? You will look for "cheaper" way to get your medication, and HOVID is one of them. For similar medication product, due to the geographical location as compared to US, Europe or Autralia (which most of the drug manufacturer located), HOVID can provide a similar quality of medication with lower cost. Will you switch to buy from HOVID or still buying from overseas? Not to forget the currency exchange rate that cause of weak RM? Keep your answer and decide you want to sell to David Ho at Rm0.38 now or not.
HOVID should become a very hot stock next year. So don kill the chicken that lay a golden eggs. Be patient.

Sslee, I DO NOT agree that you trying to suggest Dato Thong to get OTB as the advisor. Remember, OTB worked for M&A before, and you are asking him to listen to his Ex-employee, that sound very risky question to me.
To me, we should just go nicely and ask for additional dividend but not to tell him what to do. Ppl at his level may not like other to tell them what to do. You just have to show the proof and data and let him make the decision, but DO NOT tell him what to do, Rule number 1 when you talk to top management. And I strongly believe that INSAS has more than 1x OTB alike person in M&A so if you are suggesting him to get OTB as advisor, meaning you are trying to tell him that he got no body to "use" in his entire M&A. That could sound very offensive. Hence, my suggestion is remove that suggestion from your list.
Also, one question I may need your help to raise up during the AGM since I may not be able to attend it this year. From years ago, Insas uses to distribute their treasury shares as bonus share to the share holder, however since 2012, the treasury shares remains at the treasury for years. Maybe we can ask will that practice continue?

Inari today Market Capital = RM 5,644,000,000 or RM 5.644 billion. Insas own 20% of Inari, which contribute 1.1288 billion.
RM 1,128,800,000 / 663006000 = RM 1.70 per Insas Share.
With Inari alone, Insas per share worth RM 1.70, not including the cash, OMESTI, FYS, HOHUP and other businesses.
Today Insas is selling at RM 0.9x per share. Math never lie but sentiment/emotion will. Up or down, just buy whenever you got the free money. Put there for years, then retired early.

dunspace, what to do if most of malaysian investers are "gambler". Most expect want to take their money back in few days or even hours. I had been invested in Insas for more than 4 years, which brought me more than 100% return. Will get 300% return if insas really hit Rm2.00 One may argue that the return is not as good as a trader who know how to "guess" the market. Yes, indeed, 4 years 100% only represent 25% each year. However, do you dare Sai Long on a gambling counter?? Whereas for Insas, I dare to put in 80% of my total Assets and wait for it to double/triple up. Do not underestimate the effect of compounding interest/effect. Keep investing in a growing stock for few years, you will see that your money grow in exponential form. I'm one of the lucky one who manage to invested in INARI 4 years ago when it was around Rm 0.3x (Sold everything this year and get my first bucket of gold already). My next vehicle will be insas. If insas can hit double or triple next few years, I manage to retired before age of 40.
