I learnt a bitter lesson today. I cut loss 300k in Hexind in early April when it looked like end of the world then when it plunged contineously. If I held on until today, I would have made handsome profit. Pharma is so much stronger fundamentally compared to Hexind. So don't sell your tickets until at keast ex date or upon release of q2 result. Dob't be swayed by naysayers

What puzzles me is market doesn't seem to reckon Pharma is the only stock not affected by fmco. Even gloves are facing reduced work force of 60%, declining asp, impending over supply and saction from US. During fmco, Pharma is going to increase production to 2 million doses per month, doubling the capacity.

Valuations should be based on p.e. ratio and not price per say. Q1 posted eps of 8.84 cents. Assuming the following 3 quarters profit remain the same, the annualized eps is 35.36 xents and at price of 5.29, will translate to p.e. of 14.9 which is very reasonable for this sector. What if the following 3 quarters net profit increase by leaps and bounds? Then you will see a string of buy calls by IBs and everyone will be beating the drum.

I wouldn't say there is no fundamental with this stock just that at this price, the valuation is rather high. However, stock market is always reflecting the future earning capability 6 months to 1 year down the road. Even the MD gave bullish outlook for the company's prospect. I hope with q2 and q3 results out, the true value of this stock will be unleash and valuations will then become attractive. Guess just got to be patient to ride out the storm

No point debating when it's anybody's guess the impact of Sinovac profit contribution until we see q2 and q3 results. HLG gave a fair value of 5.52 based on 2.5% profit margin for 14 million doses and zero profit for the other 10 million doses. You judge for yourself whether these figures are fair in a monopolistic business.

After watching the video on sinovac fill and finish prodyction, I just can't believe HLG can come up with zero profit contribution to Pharma on these fill and finish vials and 2.5% profit margin for their finished product. They are treating this like rice wholesale profit margin. Just can't wait for the q2 result to prove how wrong they are

Tp of 5.52 is based on 2.5% profit margin on 14 million doses and zero profit from 10 million fill and finish doses. Do you believe them?

This is the only stock not affected by the fmco, in fact benefited from it. If this stock cannot go up from here after a steep retracement, I don't know which can.
