On the other note...FYI..., the special AGM on 29th August was to get the mandate from shareholder in relation to the Proposed Renewal of Share Buy Back....The shareholders has given Pantech the mandate to buy back shares from open market to stabilise the supply and demand, as well as the price of the Shares, thereby support the fundamental value of Pantech Shares...As a result Pantech has allocated millions to buy back Pantech shares from open market and keep it as treasury shares...

That is why Pantech's share price is not volatile regardless of market condition...no doubt it is slow but low risk....

I am a serious investor and do a thorough homework prior to making any investment....

anbz....TP of 1.43 has factor in ICULS (Please read ALL RHB analysis for better understanding).....ESOS is an old story and is already discounted by the market.....As a long term investor I am very hands on pertaining to Pantech's business model, business plan and the company's direction..I personally attended Pantech's AGM on 29th August at Sunway Resort Hotel..Honestly speaking as an investor I am very comfortable and satisfied with Pantech's business performance....FYI...I run thru the numbers with Pantech's accountant after the AGM and got the first hand information that the actual value of the stock exceed 1.43...cheers...

so far ok lah....for my own consumption....

Currently Pantech is very defensive..a very good sign...looking at the chart it is about time to move higher....let's see what happen before this week end...

bro hiddengem...KWAP is holding a big chunk as one of the large shareholder...They are going for long term...earn money from dividend plus some trading activities.....

So far I have no problem with this counter....so far make money...plus dividend ...I have been with this counter for quite a few months and very familiar the way the good sharks control this counter...To be honest I admire the way the good sharks control the price......when people get fed up they collect in blocks and push the price up...when the market notice there is a movement the good sharks pull it back a little bit to phase out T+4 traders....after that stabilize the price and move up again......The best part about Pantech.... it weather the storm very well...Take for a while though but it is worth it for mid term to long term investor......I am going to hold until I reach my TP of 1.43-1.50.........I look at the chart everyday....On the way to the destiny of 1.43-1.50...So far no stress....Timing...cheers...

I have been analysing Benalec...although KWAP is in....I am of the opinion that it is still not safe to go in at this level...I will go in at the right time...after I get the feel good factor....

NEW YORK: US stocks soared on Wednesday to all-time closing highs after the Federal Reserve left its huge monetary stimulus in place.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 147.21 points (0.95 percent) to 15,676.94, 18 points above the previous record set on August 2. The broad-based SandP 500 surged 20.76 points (1.22 percent) to 1,725.52, besting the previous high, also hit on August 2, by nearly 16 points.

The tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index rose 37.94 points (1.01 percent) to 3,783.64.

All three indices had been trading lower before the Fed's policy statement at 1800 GMT.

The Fed surprised markets by deciding not to dial back its US$85 billion per month bond-buying programme. Many market-watchers had expected the Fed to trim the programme by US$10 billion-US$15 billion per month.

The Fed cut its economic growth forecast for this year and next and expressed concern that the recent sharp rise in interest rates had already slowed the economy.

"The committee sees the downside risks to the outlook for the economy and the labor market as having diminished, on net, since last fall," it said at the end of a two-day monetary policy meeting.

"But the tightening of financial conditions observed in recent months, if sustained, could slow the pace of improvement in the economy and labour market."

Besides vaulting stocks higher, the Fed news sent the dollar lower against other major currencies and pushed US Treasury bond yields lower.

"The market is celebrating the fact that the Fed is sticking to data dependency and that real yields are coming down," said Art Hogan, head of product strategy at Lazard Capital Markets.

Apple tacked on 2.1 percent after putting on the market its new mobile operating system, called iOS 7.

Priceline became the first equity in the SandP 500 to trade above US$1,000 when it spiked to US$1,001 in late-session trade. Priceline closed at US$995.09, up 2.6 percent.
