Penang monorail, it's a political move to buy vote from Penang resident. We don't know it can be materialize or not in near time...wise advice don't trust 100% with politician because they didn't have ethics.

@anbz The reason MHEB not buy ramunia because of operation cost, at what reason they want to brought another company (same business) with different location they also have a capacity and plant capability to do the job. MHEB know PETRONAS would support their subsidiary at any cost(financial & contract) and ramunia also have internal issues during Korean take over that company. TH make a big step to relocate RAMUNIA plant at Pulau Indah and at the same time change the company name to TH Heavy (rebranding)....FYI in OnG business if the company have high debt ratio, it would suffer to secure more contract. TH sell land at ramunia and buy land at Pulau Indah with cheap value and low premium (land conversion).

Yeah, in order to give high dividend to depositor TH have diversified their investment portfolio. By the way i still curios GLOMAC stock would fly in near time. They didn't have so much landbank compared SP Setia, most land that they have in Selangor (Puncak Alam, Cyberjaya, Puchong and etc.) and their product are not so hot. By looking from the market pattern and people buying power, they really interested with affordable product (below rm400k). Well maybe others have a good reason to invest GLOMAC, because of the speculation which related to political interest. I rather look on the fundamental....

Even though SCOMI secure contract from oversea...risk still there. Price won't fly higher from our expected, resistance at 0.37cent.

Based on THE EDGE report, SGB sell off SOL to SMR. It's look like SGB want to reduce management responsibility and lift up the financial capabilities of SGB itself. Then SCOMI ENERGY have a opportunity to strengthen their presence in OnG business. This is what management thinking for the long term business plan, and i believe SCOMI ENERGY would become one of the business driven for SGB in OnG. After this the vision and mission of this company would be change and also with new faces of top management. This scenario also happen in GLC and other private company ex SAPURA, SIME DARY, DRB HICOM and Khazanah. SCOMI ENERGY would become a hot stock. Well it's depends on the SGB influential and business strategy. For RSC project, PETRONAS doesn't have option to award the contract to foreign company, the purpose for awarding RSC contract to JV (foregin+local) is to developed local company in OnG business. SKPETRO doesn't have chance to get 2 RSC contract at one time (mandatory criteria) for tendering process.
So if no interference from the HAND GOD I would say SCOMI have a big chance to get that RSC project from PETRONAS and SCOMI ENERGY would act as a driver.

Why IJM interested with SCOMI....because they already know scomi have a big potential to secure RSC project. I believe scomi will get RSC project....

SCOMI need financial supporter from IJM so that they can lift a credibility to bid a tender. I think most of big2 company have a similar process (technical and financial). Even though the company have a strong technical and financial support it doesn't mean can secure that contract, political influence also need to be considered....who have most influential will be the winner.

Hope scomi will fly again....like oldtimes

i would prefer not to buy this counter again until the price drop below 5cent again...now its time to change another counter. There's no news, the reason Dato AA buy this company is very cheap, potential business may be they have but it is a long journey to go. I believe there are some change new face at mgmt position and also vision and mission of this company would be change. At this time i suggest oil n gas is the best counter for investment but you have to be selective to buy a good counter. For those buy this counter by contra...better sell switch to another counter.

Scomi now at downtrend position, i believe tomorrow will drop below 30cent. As we know the idea go for EGM is to get a vote whether IJM can go in or not. Even IJM get highest percentage shareholding, that move still a uncertain condition because contract in hand still not enough to lift up their performance. Unless SCOMI get new contract within 3 to 4 months from now. IJM have a good capital and support from EPF to secure SCOMI but it doesn't mean can guarantee SCOMI to get big project.

after CNY the price would slowly increase and after GE13 will be more exciting...no matter who sworn as a PM, life must go on. i believe this is a good move for retail investor like us. Be brave!
