Just wait till the gloves hype is over, then tech will be back. Just look at Topglove HB and Supermx HB, doesnt make sense at all. I guess they just buy without knowing what is Call or Put Warrant. Many will get burnt there.

Had a good talk with a friend yesterday, he came out with a brilliant analogy.
When a stock price that is expect to move, stay at a price for a period of time, it's just like a train stopping at a train station, picking up passengers, passengers will take their own sweet time to enter.
When the train door is closing, people will start to rush in.
When the train start moving, those left outside can only wave goodbye, no point to jump in for the risk of falling on the track.
However, passengers on board will never know they are on the Train to Busan or Train to 福山！

Based on past movements, Dsonic is not a stock that will slowly go up or slowly go down, it will just suddenly move. Since NIIS announcement is getting nearer each day, I'm expecting a sudden move in price soon.

Market fall a little as investors are taking profit while waiting for Bank Negara monetary policies update later today, most probably will announce OPR update. Based on data, foreign investors are coming back, so clear sky ahead this week, except for US covid19 panic.

5. Don't forget NIIS contact, for this month Dsonic and MYEG price will shoot up before the end of this month, until the winner is announced, closer to the date, the price will be higher.

6. So if Dsonic or MYEG price fall on Monday, don't panic, it will recover.

Actually not much to worry because now not PH in power, just don't have to panic, only contra players might panic.

The news has already triggered Dsonic and MYEG price to limit down 2 years ago, on Monday maybe it will trigger some panic sell, which I think will be a good time to collect as I think it will rebound very fast.

@tongtong33 In order to cut queue to buy, you need to offer highest. In order to cut queue to sell, you need to offer lowest.
I'm guessing you are talking about closing period. During 4.45pm-4.50pm, no trade is happening, only price bidding and queing, at 4.50pm, trading resume at Target Opening Price. For example if the TOP is 1.5, all trading is done only that that price.

@tongtong33 This is called cut queue. For example, if the opening price is RM1.5, the person who queue at RM1.57 will get it at RM1.5, because he manage to cut queue at get to the first in line.
However, if the opening price is really RM1.57, then he has to take it at that price, so the risk in cutting queue is you might need to pay high.
You can view the Target Opening Price using trading platform at your computer 30 minutes before market open, usually the apps doesn't show. Target Opening Price will change according to the queue price.

@vespa Papers like TheEdge and Focus are good to collect more info for your own analysis, just don't rely on it for a decision because if newspapers confirmed a news, it is already old news.

S5 is their strength and also weakness.
It will be interesting to see if the consortium involving few parties will be able to provide lower cost than Dsonic.

1 more month to go for NIIS to be announced, close to the announcement date, Dsonic, MYEG and HTPadu price will surely shoot up.
Recalling previous article on FocusMalaysia, S5 although has the expertise for biometrics, however the ownership of the company is very much unknown. So the government might not want to risk our national security on this unknown. Unless the unknown is someone in the government.

@Kenzo8 Volume is there to show that it is very actively trading, to see which side it is moving, you can see the B volume. Currently it is around 48%, means sellers are throwing the price to buyers. In simple words, you queue at RM1, seller sell to you at RM1. This is B. Seller queue at RM1.2, and you decide to meet the seller price at RM1.2, this is S. More S, high volume, price up.

Pres Bhd lost the contract because it is too expensive, and then the government open tender to get the lowest price. So cost is the most important thing here assuming that each company is able to provide the same service. This is an open tender, so under table deal will be at minimum, most of the finalist companies does have political connections.

I don't usually reply to troll, but this is a very good question that I forgot to explain here, hopefully chengyee with IQ of 3 years old can understand.

The author of that article in TheEdge purposely left out DSonic, it is the author own agenda, I won't dig deep to it.

Here is why I say it is Dsonic vs S5, nothing to do with that article.

1. Dsonic is managing Malaysia IC, passports etc, national security stuff, this is their field.
2. S5 Sdn Bhd is a company that handle biometric security, currently with no government contract.
3. The main reason NIIS is open for tender again is because of cost, each companies need to provide the lowest cost, the government already know what they need, it's the cost that matter now.
4. Let's say Dsonic and S5 has the same technology level, so which company can provide the lower cost?
5. Dsonic with their existing system, can integrate the info and system into the NIIS, which I think will dramatically reduce the cost, where as S5 need to start from scratch.
6. Who is in the better position is up to your judgment, do more research, make your own conclusions.

On April 28, Bursa announced extension of Short Selling ban, the next day, most of the stocks went up, and just after 3 trading sessions, Dsonic shoot up 20 sens in 1 day.
These few days are slow because the short selling ban should have ended on 30th June, so investors are being careful. Now that the ban is extended, what do you think?

Do some research on your own, look at price history from April 28, of course look for fundamentally good stocks. For comparison you can look at MYEG too, after April 28, look at what happen to the price.

Dow Jones drop 700points, but positive news is Europe market doesnt react to the drop, we will see here.

It seems like the correction period is over, today closing is important. If it can close at 1.43 and above, then it's a signal of trend reversal!

Just a simple check back on chengyee comments, starting on Jun 6, been shouting TP RM1. If only he takes action and enter, could have make a handsome profit.

There are only 3 types of people here, shareholders, interested investors, and the most annoying one which we see at almost every forum in i3, the one that missed the boat and trying hard to influence people to sell.

The drop is because big fund has pulled out the queue, I guess accumulation is complete. So now it is free to move.

While waiting for accumulation, let me share something about about 1 type of people that I find it very funny in stock market.

When the price goes up, this person will ask , "Is it too high to buy already? Maybe wait for it to drop."

When the price drop, this person will ask , "It is dropping now, seems like this share is losing hope, maybe wait for it to go up first. "

So when is the right time to buy? For this type of people, there will be no right time, they will curse the stock when it goes up because they missed it, and they will cheer when it goes down because they feel relieve.

Along the process, people who do research and enter at the right time has earn and sell few times.
