this year Panamy is making profits at it records high, so the final dividend is expected to be good. Cross our fingers........hopefully some shares split like 5 for 1 into 20 sen each.

based on 9 months profit of RM110mil, and we annualised 2015 accounts at 145mil and assuming 80% payout as dividend, then it works out to RM2.38 per share, let assume 5% variation then the final dividend could be in the range RM2.26 per share.

Compared with RM1.42 previous year, that work out to an improvement of 60% increment.

Yes, this funds either vote for or against it, so we do not know their real intentions behind huge buying of the stocks...........but but judging from their buyings from 0.425 to 0.45 sen, i guess they knows something of the deals in advance that prompted them buying more in.

Jack22, QA is already approved by Bursa just the price need to be re-nogotiate which the company did. So now for the shareholders EGM to approve the QA unless someone or some funds deliberately voted against it.

the warrant is underpriced because the QA is not confirmed at that point of time. This time it will commanded a premium because the QA is approved by Bursa and the purchase prime is reduced hence no reason for the shareholders to voted against the purchase in the coming EGM.

Why Bursa didn't updated the PE ratio of the stocks that suppose be around 68.xx%.

Sona have RM527 mil or USD125 mil, now they gonna purchase the QA for USD50 mil or 40% of the trust fund. So the balance 40% could be use to develop and expanding the current oilfields to increase the output barrels.

That could be 2nd stage but most important is to get the shareholders approval for the QA even at USD50 mil.

If the oil prices is trading at USD40++, i don't think Bursa will come out with that statement that the QA is overpriced.

For me, i look at it at the positive side since SONA can have 100% control of the oilfields and have extra monies to expanding the productions for years to come and tap into the funds immediatelt unlike Cliq or Hibiscus.

If we read the Bursa approval given to SONA, it is already approved the QA but advised the company that the purchase price is bit steep and ask them to negotiate.......but the approval still stands and the purchase price still acceptable if all the shareholders voted it.

The real potential of the stocks is not fully reflected yet on the price. Just give the company some time and another 2 more quarter and you will see the result.

Volume is thin for today which is very unbecoming. ....but is good too becos too low is only good for the PP taker but will give a bad impression on the stocks for those holders holding to the stocks.

The weak holders could sell in wave creating lower price for the stocks and not beneficial back to the PP takers.

Hence, they need to stop the no confidence of the stock by stabilize the down trend of the price before the next announcement.
