Scomi & scomein has good track record of winning contract but there project managements and cost control is very weak, hence they keep reporting a loss on these contracts.

the contract would start flowing in the 2-3 weeks. The edge has reported there a 2.3 billion contract from petronas in the cards

When stock price low again, buy back and push it again up by 5 cents.

They can still survive be succesfull outside malaysia. that's the price. Six months from now, many will knock their head for not buying at current price. I just bought 40 lots between 0.355 & 0.36

scomi won projects in myanmar and indonesia but no bursa announcements, only press release. Makes you wonder - why?

just found out cimb margin has downgraded my scomi shares from 80% to 30% cap. Need to sell or top-up within 14 days. I am sure others effected. Some are transfering from cimb to malacca securities, some might force sell, if the price does not inch up. Another downward impact on the price?

The price will be down at most 2 sen from the highest price of the day. So if the price for today went up 0.38, then the lowest it will go today is 0.36. Then those syndicates and esos receipents will try to buy back.

Last annoucements that SC has approved, so next logical step for bursa approval, then EGM. Also last week esos shares was listed at 0.17. This recepient would have double they money, if they sell now.then drive the price down and buyback. Even after MOF, there price will hover around 0.47-0.50. If scomein monorail come in, then will shoot past 0.55

Nothing would quite happen as far as MOF, untill the EGM. Once bursa gives approval for the bond issue, the EGM date will finalized, maybe before CNY. Untill then the 0.17 essos shares will sell high, then try to buy back later at a lower price.

when shah converts his warrants, fireworks. price will fly above 0.415, all will start chasing..

tmr all the scomi outfits report annouce their quarter results. Based on past thrends, new wins are annouce, my educated guess is marine will indicate some wins in Indon and Myanmar

From what I gathered is some merchant banks was offered astro shares at 2.60 much lower than the ipo price that almost everybody else paid. These I suspect the very ones who offered finance to astro staffs. The second day of trading they start dumping, so there is panic and force selling. All these extensions given to astro staff - are all at face value only. Until they have collected as many shares they can, the price will languish below 2.80

KC - I sold my all big caps, for modest gain or some losses. I still have a lot of scomein (bought at 0.75), some grp for speculations. Quite a lot in marine. Others in portfolio, Amedia (keep making money for me every other day)

my marine holding is getting higher everyday. sold eveything and banking on one counter

the fact is there way too many scomi grp floating. there be more listed tmr. while marine is tightlly held, hence it will move higher with any good news compared to grp
