So those who want to take short term profit and sell, go ahead but don't regret.

genting is a big cap stock and if you cannot hold, don't buy it. If goldentriangle had the balls to buy the stock at 6.70 in 2015, he could have sold the stock in 2017 for at least 9.00. Assuming he held the stock for 2 years, he would have made a compounded annual return of more than 15% over the two years. Genting is not a penny stock and therefore cannot be traded like one. The fundamentals are strong and growth catalysts are coming onstream over the next 6 to 9 months, so if in spite of this, you are still in a panic mode, just sell the stock first thing next monday.

VS adding to capacity to cope with increased orders and going by the performance of its share price, the market is appreciating the developments currently taking place. its results should improve more significantly in its 2H FY17, and its price could trend even higher by then. i hv bought in Jan 17 and am still holding for even higher returns. Didn't even think of selling when it hit 1.80.

Genting had already hit 9.90 last year when the conditions were not exactly right; this time around, solid performances from genm and gens, bullish palm oil prices, and the rolling out of the GITP culminating in the Fox theme park opening end 2017 together with more tourist arrivals from China, are the factors fuelling the price rise. and btw, why would the French exit the EU, they always hated the British and you think they want to follow the stupid brexit decision? I think goldentriangle not profiting from the genting run up, so sour grapes.

given the supply side contractions and the increase in demand for aluminium due to expansion in infra projects China and elsewhere, aluminium prices are on an upward trend. Moreover PM itself is continuously improving its production and logistical efficiencies to improve margins. This will be a profitable counter to hold over the coming year. Don't worry about short term price fluctuations, this is a solid counter.

how is rm3 a good sell if it represents more than 50% discount to IGB's rnav estimate as indicated? the regulators should put in place some mechanisms to prevent this kind of unfair practice by major shareholders seeking to buy assets at prices way below the assets' actual worth just because the minority shareholders are apparently powerless to do anything about it.
