The quarter result of Hovid will be releasing end of this month and I think the quarter result might be better than the previous quarter because of

1. The previous slow revenue growth in 2Q was because of the downtime of two weeks for its high-volume blister packaging machinem which delayed the productions of about RM4 mil worth of drugs. I think the issue is solved and the product has shipped out on Jan which the revenue should be reflected in Q3.

2. Since the increased of the production should lower down the cost which will produce better profit margins and typically Hovid revises its selling prices in 2H to account for operating cost inflation. The higher of the selling prices should further boost its profit margin.

3. The cost of the raised of the employee wages in last September can only be pass through to the customer this year.

4. The CFO mentioned that Hovid remains confident of maintaining 10~15% revenue and earning growth annually.

5. The disposal of its 51% stake in Indian pharmaceutical and consumer products company Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd (BPPL) for RM16.22 mil. Hovid would make RM986000 from the share sale. May be this will only be reflected in the next quarter result.

Although what the tile said is true but it should explain in more details of the reasons that affected the financial performance. I don't see a problem giving ESOS to the employee, furthermore to the director. The awarded contract not even included in the financial yet and usually the last quarter will be much better than the rest. I will buy even more if it drops.
