You could possibly and it will depend on pricing. The fall from 65 to now 42 cents explains that investors were wary of Versatile block. There is likely to be price stability and asking for good priced deal feasible at the moment.

Cweed it's SC requirement for a fully owned subsidiary not to have shares in its holding company especially not as big as what Versatile has. So if u were a buyer and you wanted to buy shares in Iris what would u do. Married deal? Unlikely because u know that they have to sell and you want to collect at cheapest price possible. Why match at a fixed price.

Right now is all about finding a buyer for Versatile shares in Iris. I just wish someone would buy that block rather than selling in open market.

I like they way we try to guess on price movements. Some say up some say down some say neutral. Stick to the fundamentals. Does the company have further announcement, is there future value enhancement to the company, is the company going to make profits in the future. If it is, then the answer is obvious. I like this company on that basis.

The broking firm obviously didn't go thru the company's balance sheet. The company cash pile is half the market cap of the company with minimal liabilities.

With what management is doing with this company, I don't see it being a MYR 100m market cap company for too long. I think potentially it could be very soon in the mid cap range MYR500m.

Stick to the fundamentals rather guessing price action. At the moment fundamentals of the company are still intact.

I think instead of just looking at the share price, go and do some research on the industry, the company, its competitors and management. Look at companies like Fitters, was busy buying when people thought nothing of it. Raw Gems take time to shine. No one makes money when share price is falling not even management.
