DK66’s view makes sense under normal business environment but as long as the money go to jaks d how can the jv ensure no misappropriation? Somemore, if jaks has the rights to bill them for what they had done based on progress, then y not bill while recognising it as advance from contract customer? They can bill jv so that payment received can offset against trade receivables.... nobody can confirm the advance from jv was used for wat purpose... anyway, the key point still if power plant make good profit after completion...

Sarifah, u should note that they receive it in advance and used it too coz total cash lower than the advance... u should note that the 270m++ might be equivalent to the future profit to be recognised from epc as well... it is good that to have the profit in future reporting, but dont think it is a good thing if the cash from future profit was being used as of now...
