Iris partner Global Blue has a wide experience if compare tu Mpay Technology Partner which is a Korean IT firm. Global Blue presence in Spore, Australia, European Countries and many more. They have a credible clienteles. So I think Iris will win if compare to MPay. Congratulation to Iris....the announcement will be as early of october....So buy and wait...TP of RM0.75.

JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT EXECUTED BETWEEN IRIS CORPORATION BERHAD (“ICB”) AND ALVERY RESOURCES LIMITED (“ALVERY”) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LAND MEASURING 100,000 HECTARES FOR AGRICULTURAL AND BUSINESS PURPOSES IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA.
ARTICLE ENTITLED “HITCH IN IRIS’ TIMBER-LOGGING PLAN’ ON PAGE 9 OF FOCUS MALAYSIA DATED JULY 26TH, 2014 (“Article”)
Pursuant to an article on page 9 of Focus Malaysia entitled “HITCH IN IRIS ‘ TIMBER-LOGGING PLAN’ , the Board of Directors of IRIS Corporation Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to clarify the following:-
The Company had on 14th April, 2014 entered into a Joint Venture Agreement (“Agreement”) with Alvery Resources Limited (“ALVERY”) a company incorporated in Papua New Guinea for the proposed development of 100,000 hectares land in Portion 17C, Oro Province of Papua New Guinea. The Agreement is at all material times subject and conditional upon the fulfilment of several Conditions Precedent as enumerated in our announcement dated 14th April 2014 primarily on the validity of the sublease and approvals on the proposed 100,000 hectares of land.
The Company did not have any knowledge whatsoever that the Subleased Land (100,000 hectares) was already subleased by the Proprietors to any third party as it relied on the representations and warranties of ALVERY and agreed to enter into a Conditional JV agreement pending the completion of a legal due diligence which is currently on going. The Agreement terminates automatically in the event it remains conditional and the Subleased Land is not free from all/or any encumbrances (where the JV does not acquire a clean and valid sublease from the Proprietors).
The Company is being advised from time to time by the authorities in the Department of Lands and Physical Planning, Office of Registrar of Titles of Papua New Guinea on the legality of the Subleased Land to Musa Century Ltd and will inform Bursa upon receipt of conclusive information on the status of the JV .
The Company has no knowledge whatsoever about any legal action being taken by any third party in Papua New Guinea with regards to the Subleased Land and confirm it is not a party to any such suits.
This announcement is made ion 30th July, 2014.
