agreed, AA is a good company and its safe to say that this is the only counter that provided with a good return in 2018. What I am against is people like Radzi who promotes something non stop like this:

1. When AAX price goes up, See guys, everyone believes in AAX thats why they are buying, place took off
2. When Tony, Kama buys, See guys, the management has confidence, thats why they are buying.

3. When AAX price drops, Something is brewing guys, the institutional players/sindikket is pushing prices down as they know that AAX is good and they want to collect it lower before pushing it higher

Anyway, bringing it down to T+2 is definitely a good thing as it protects retailers from trying to gamble away and speculate wildly without having the cash to pickup if things go south. It is all about Risk Management

Jaya, it seems that you have a lot to learn from Investing/trading bro.

There are 2 ways of looking at things.

The 1st is your way, take away your capital and let the profits run. That would work if the prices are going up indefinitely and if there aren't any more options to make money from other counters/investment vehicles.

The second way is more realistic. Know when to sell, know when to buy, dont be too clingy to a particular country, dont have too much emotions attached towards a counter. Also good to look for opportunities from all counters that may have a better risk to reward ratio while probably having a higher probability of delivering a higher % of returns. They key in this second way is to make rationalised investment decisions.

In a bull market situation or when a particular stock is going up, many Sifu's would come out and say, see I told you so....

JN88, there are 2 rules in investing. Rule 1 is when someone calls themselves a Sifu, never listen to them as self-proclaimed Sifus dont last long.

Rule number 2 of investing is to refer back to rule number 1 mentioned above lol.

Lsnesra, read my previous comments. Paper profit is not realised profit. It is always good to take profits along the way, that is why I sold off approximately 40% of my AA shares simply because realised profit is better than paper profit. Be smart, invest smart and trade smart
