The cycle begins with these :


1.Big institutional investors will start selling the shares that they own and start selling at a higher price. Sudden spike in price with major increase of sell rate.

2.As they continue to dump their stake of the particular company's share, the price plunges to the very bottom that they think it should be.

3.At this rate, most individual investor would have to cut their loss and hence realizing their paper loss. Hence the big institutional investors are getting shares at a very discounted price.

4.The price will stay at the bottom for quiet a long time before the big institutional investor decides that the stock's price should go up by now. The rally starts and most individual investors will join the cycle again and those who plans to hold the stock for a particular long time will be the next victim.

5.Hence they will be repeating the Step 1. all over again.

i don't know if you ever experience this before.....normally, the more we expect it to be moving at one direction.....the more they will purposely try to make it move the other way round
