@bb55, distribution already started on 10/11. Look at from top Red/Blue/Green/Brown. Also look at 3/9 and 31/7.

Normally, double top, 80% of the time, down.

Another round of up is to watch for accumulation.
Cheers. ;)

@ozzie75, look at the "Elliot wave signal", the heart beat. Also the oscillator below it. Compare it vertically. Whenever the heart beat down=V, it really means down. When /\, I don't have to explain ;) Cheers and good night.

doraemon_dreamhunter. I am waiting for -ve divergence so I can buy at 0.005 cents. I am also stuck at 0.54, and looking forward for a +ve divergence to sell it. Read my messages, I never said, "Bull or Bear" and never said "Buy or Sell". If I sell at loss, I must be an idiot.

86868, based on Red(13) and Green(34), yup, accumulation, the other distribution. We have 50/50 on 4 FVE. BUT, all 4 FVE are converging to -36 to -42 area. This is getting interesting.

86868, observe the chart carefully, see how RED move against other colour, especially the BROWN. When all color mixed together... well, you tell me.
Also, see the gap. Larger and narrower gap between the 4 FVE line.

Look at the Peak and Trough, compare it with "my Elliot wave signal", the heart beat.

L2, I am not sure whether...
1. Price chart, early stage of cup-with-handle or saucer from mid Oct/14
2. FVE period=10 chart, triangle or diamond? I did analyze it, more toward diamond shaped.

The FVE's period still need some adjustment. Different counter react/behave to FVE differently. I am still testing the FVE's period value. (The default=22, min=10)

@L2, FVE=22 better for intermediate term. FVE=10, short term and more sensitive.
Using FVE=22 and Linear Regression Slope, you can identify the -/+ve divergence.

27/10 to 21/11, using FVE=22(2nd graph), similar to one of the Markos Katsanos' chart. Kind of interest.

Let see what happen on next week.

L2, below here I extract from

Stocks & Commodities V. 21:4 (26-38): Detecting Breakouts by Markos Katsanos
Conclusion

"I have done extensive system testing and found that the FVE
works best for small-cap and volatile securities such as Internet,
software, communications, computer, and biotech stocks.
Volume action in the large-cap or major index component
stocks tends to be distorted due to program trading, portfolio
adjusting, tax selling, index trading, and so on, so volume-
based indicators might not give signals that are as reliable as
those for smaller-cap, non-index stocks. On the other extreme,
for some reason penny stocks do not always respond to indica-
tor divergences. It is a good idea to test the reliability of the FVE
on historical price charts when selecting a stock to trade based
on FVE divergence. Further, using mechanical systems for
identifying divergence might be more objective, but it is a good
idea to verify them visually before making any final decisions."

"I got the best results by using FVE in conjunction with classic
technical analysis formations such as the cup-with-handle,
saucer, and triangle, as well as stocks that are building a base.
F VE provided an opportunity to identify stocks early in a cup-
with-handle formation. You can initiate a trade in the early
stages of the right side of the cup being formed rather than wait for the handle to form, thus increasing your profits dramati-
cally. FVE will also help you determine the direction of the
breakout from triangles."

"Last but not least, keep in mind that there are no certainties in
the financial markets — only probabilities. FVE will increase your
probability of winning, but good money management will help
you avoid large losses and maximize your profits. You should
always use stop-loss orders to protect your capital or profits."

@86868, L2 and I were discussing about the FVE indicator and testing it. We based the result on this and next week "assumed" data.

"21/11 end result -72.9031 28/11 end result -63.3147"
These are not price. It is just FVE indicator value.
Only when pass 0 or higher, it means bull or / = +ve or \ = -ve divergence.

The last test, actual + "assumed next week data" (based on L2 sampling),
even the "PRICE" drop further, the FVE is in +ve divergence(low slope)

"ZigZag Reversal = 40 percent FVE Period = 12 instead of 22"
These are just a parameter for the FVE and ZigZag.
At present, I am using it, that the indicator is more sensitive to changes in price and volume.

@86868, you may want to refer back further messages about the FVE.
Have a look at the Actual Data FVE graph(top chart). Ignore the test chart.

Cheers,

travoltakeong, what you read is correct according to Markos Katsanos. At present stage, for the FVE indicator is accumulation - distribution - accumulation(small). Zoom on the chart. When, if only if, cross the Zero(hopefully soon), "Values above zero are bullish and indicate accumulation" will happen.

Look at the FVE(red), ZigZag(green), and other indicators, cross reference vertical to the daily chart(bottom). Find the divergence? You will notice something.

Good night.

L2, I have one chart using Finite Volume Elements (FVE) indicator by Markos Katsanos. I am still trying figure it out whether the formula I used is correct. According to the chart, 14/10/14 till 21/11, accumulation. When refer back to April/2014 to June/2014, similar indication, accumulation.
I will be publish it out, hopefully on Saturday for all to see.

Markos Katsanos’ Finite Volume Element (FVE) indicator was first described in “Detecting Breakouts” in the April 2003 issue “Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities.” The FVE is a money flow indicator but with several key differences from Chakin’s Money Flow or On Balance Volume. Unlike these money flow indicators which add or subtract all volume even if the security barely closed higher than the previous close, FVE uses a volatility threshold to take into account minimal price changes.

Divergences between price and the indicator can provide leading signals whereas the slope of the indicator shows if the bulls or bears are in control. Values above zero are bullish and indicate accumulation while values below zero indicate distribution. FVE crossing the zero line indicates that the short to intermediate balance of power is changing.
