Leoleo, as long as every quarterly is in profit and oil price is on recovery mode, I won't sell. I will just hold until I need the money. If I have lose all, so be it.

Share market investment is already a high risk, just like gambling. I invested into this cow dung hole because it may have a future.

My humble point of view:-
1. a very good possibility that Sumatec's share price will go higher
2. next quarter report will be profit
3. oil price will be in the range of 52+ to 65 range
4. change of better management

Have a good weekend to you.
p/s: Investing in the share market, one should not be scare. Calm and must have a clear mind.

TSHS must has a good reason. He can't be that stupid by selling those shares at 5 cents and lost 20+ cents. (he topped up last year or so at around 21 cents)

Possible of right to left pocket if I am TSHS when oil price is on recovery mode.

This year, TSHS, transferred or sold all his asset(oil) to Sumatec. Looks like he is retiring and collecting money without working from Sumatec. And possible change in management. If it is true, I hope those new breed can bring Sumatec forward.

What is/are the reason(s) TSHS sold his shares?

Anyone care to share the information.

With 3 quarter of profit and oil price is going up progressively, just doesn't make sense.

1. Never expect everything
2. Never expect profit

4. Never scare of losing

Just be happy when losing or winning. We never know what is going to happen in the second of our life.

I had never scared of losing. I am numb...

Reuters is now also reporting that OPEC has agreed to cut output, but gives no details on the actual amount.

The deal was sealed as Saudi Arabia said it was prepared to take “a big hit” on its production and agree to let rival Iran increase production to presanction levels, according to the newswire.

In other headlines out of Vienna just now, according to reports:

- Saudi Arabia will cut output to 10.06 million barrels a day. The nation produced 10.55 million barrels a day in November, according to Vienna-based JBC Energy

- Iranian output will be capped at 3.797 million barrels a day, enough to allow the country to return to presanction levels

- The output deal will be effective in January and will last for six months, but can be extended

- Indonesia is said to have been suspended from OPEC, with some of the remaining member states snapping up the country’s quota

"...
Here are Goldman’s price predictions:

If the proposed OPEC production cut to 32.5 mb/d is agreed to, we would expect prices to rally to the low $50s/bbl, with observed implementation required to support prices further. Given historical observed compliance to announced production cuts, this would be the equivalent of realized 1H17 OPEC production of 33.0 mb/d and a Russia freeze, which would warrant $55/bbl oil prices in 1H17 and backwardation by 2Q17.

If no deal is reached, our expectation of rising inventories through 1H17 would warrant prices averaging $45/bbl through next summer. Of course, the absence of a deal would likely exacerbate the initial sell-off given the unwind of net speculative positioning and with a large WTI option open interest around the $40/bbl strike potentially exacerbating a move below that level. However, with the Brent market in our view only pricing in a 30% probability of a deal being reached and the option market pricing in a $6/bbl move, we believe that a move to below $40/bbl would be difficult to sustain. This suggests that price risk is likely skewed to the upside heading into Wednesday...."

"One example of such a company is Marathon Petroleum (MPC). The stock is being targeted by activist investor Elliot Management, and as a large E&P company it would benefit from any OPEC deal. While MPC is up a lot in the last few days, the stock could have more room to run.

Significant amounts of investment research have shown that investors tend to hold their losers too long and sell their winners too early. The current energy markets may be just such an example of that. All signs point to an improving underlying set of economic conditions, a durable deal among major suppliers in the market, and a group of investors that are willing to come off the sidelines to invest in the stocks. One never goes broke taking a profit, but it might be too early to take a profit in energy names right now."

‘Promising’ Talks

Zanganeh said Barkindo met with senior Iraqi officials to discuss that country’s resistance to production cuts and the result of those talks is “promising,” according to the Oil Ministry.

Barkindo asked Zanganeh to show “more flexibility” at the Vienna talks to ensure the Algiers accord is implemented, the ministry said in a separate statement. Zanganeh assured Barkindo that Iran will do “everything possible” to reach a consensus, it said.

Brent crude for January settlement increased 37 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $46.86 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange on Friday. The global benchmark crude rose 4.7 percent in the week.

Asked what he regards as a fair oil price for both producers and consumers, Zanganeh said: “OPEC members have targeted an oil price of $55 to $60.”

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh expressed optimism on Saturday about an upcoming OPEC meeting and said crude prices could jump to $55 a barrel if an agreement is reached and non-OPEC producers cooperate.

"We are receiving positive signals that increase the likelihood of agreement at the meeting ... and I'm optimistic about the situation," Zanganeh told state television by telephone, after meeting OPEC Secretary-General Mohammed Barkindo in Tehran ahead of the Nov. 30 meeting.

"I think if we can reach an agreement, God willing, the price would rapidly reach above $50 per barrel ... If non-OPEC (producers) also cooperate, I don't think $55 per barrel would be out of reach."

Leoleo,

Look at the 1st and 2nd Daily charts(2nd graph), 3rd Weekly(2nd graph)
Bollinger Band %B (green) and Bollinger Band width(red), MA on BB %b(orange)
The Bollinger Band(yellow) indicator on Bollinger Band %B (green)

and last, 4th Weekly(1st graph)

Using the BB(yellow) against the (green), you can easily(almost) identify when price about to change. Same as the MA(orange)

Cross reference it to the price graph(last graph). You can identify the movement.

Use the BB with other oscillator or indicator. I prefer stochastic, and stochastic RSI.

Leoleo, just my perspective on this OPEC's deal.
1. Good possibility they will either freeze or cut.

2. Possibility of cut is higher. Why? Most probable to kiss new "erected" butt because they did kicked those US oil shale.

3. Trump is playing a "hard ball" by saying about to revive US oil industry. Poker player.

4. Saudi and almost all producing country needs money, same as Russia.

5. If OPEC's becomes ignorant, float the market, and keep on pumping to kill the US oil shale, Trump will be happy for their idiotic decision. Why? US economy does not depend on oil export...

You may google Trump said about the oil market before "erected" as POTUS
He is good playing poker with the rest of the world.

6. CAPITALISM. Those oil shale companies, prefer higher profit at higher priced oil instead of low.
7. Don't forget, last 2 years, most oil industry already cut their CAPEX. Value? Bloody big cut.

8. On election day, the whole world markets really panic selling. After that, nothing happen in US market when it opened!!! Kind of interesting.

9. As for Sumatec, last 2 quarters had net profit during the oil price was below USD45

The more I read the news, the more I buy at lower price, and I won't worry much.

Just my observation on current event.

One lesson to all forumers using Technical Analysis.
Every share counter has it own volatility.

You need to adjust the indicator's or oscillator's period cycle accordingly.
1st Rule. Always look for EARLY EXIT, Not early entry.
2nd Rule. Once you understand the indicator or oscillator, aim for EARLY ENTRY
3rd Rule. DO NOT BE GREEDY and ALWAYS BE HUMBLE.
4th Rule. If a mistake was made, change strategy to Exit or Entry.

Just my opinion.

Have a good evening folks.

Leoleo,

Observe the weekly. It is easier to see the direction. As for daily, due to slow price movement, not much fluctuation or volatility. That green /|\ or \|/ is significant. When cross reference daily and weekly on the signal, yes, it really make me wonder about it once a while.

If you see /\\/ or \//\ close to each other, it is a fast change of direction or trend, FALSE SIGNAL.
It also depend on the signal percentage.

As for Sumatec, \|/ green was there for far too long. I am waiting for the weekly chart to change like the daily chart. If the weekly does change to /|\ green, I need to monitor the daily closely and then weekly for \|/ green and other indicators direction before selling and wait for lower price again.

At present moment, the daily present signal of /|\ is 1st wave at 8% change. I preferred 13% which it can go higher, it is not occur, yet.

Leoleo and the rest, I will share the signal as when it becomes active.

Why? The reason is simple. I used it to exit from the top(before the chart, I always got stuck at the top). Now, I am using it to enter at the bottom, unless I want to get stuck at the top again.

The above statement is what Nomanland had experienced by observing his own charts.

Just a simple humble opinion. Using the charts is your choice and your own risk.

As usual,
"To buy or not to buy, that is the question"
"To sell or not to sell, that is the question should investors sell it to Nomanland at 0.050?"
