Suma has been hovering around 0.26 - 0.265 for almost 1 month.....high 0.345 (5 months ago). The block @ 0.26 waited 3 weeks baru dapat 2 days ago......
Sudah dapat must have holding power till September at least.......

Query : WA - warrant... Daughter - Sumatec WB, Mother- Sumatec, 5 days weighted Average - use to apply on PP, the lower the average the better as PP will get 10% discount (Bursa allow PP to acquire additional 10% of Suma shares & PP price is 10% less on WAMP (weighted average market price) over 5 days. PP suppose to aqure additional 300million shares on top of 3.4billion shares currently.

Until today there was no announcement from Bursa whether PP has been approved & I don't know whether the WAMP process had begun or not.....but price is constantly being pressed down. This is the reason I thought Suma is paving way for PP.

Pursuitofepiness, ....yr name cantik wor.....first thing when you enter stock market....you must know yr character, how much know how much risk can you handle, want to be trader (hold from few days to 3 months) or investor (6mts to 1yr - mid term investor) or ( 2. - 5 yrs long term). Important to know.....invest with money which you can afford to loose.......DO NOT TAKE LOAN.....stock market is not a guaranteed ground for investment.....Since you're still new & have too many doubts.....let the professional handle yr investments...there's plenty of good unit trust companies where most of their funds traded in stock market.....trust me you'll sleep well....

Since you want to be in the "limelight" of Bursa....you need to have some tools or weapons before you go to "war" . You need to understand Fundamental and Technical Analysis of companies you want to invest. You have to do a lot of reading on invesment books in particular investing in stock market
At the same time practice by investing small first. Pursuitofepiness.....Suma is an upstream in O&G Sector. However Suma is the operator for Rakochehnoye oil field in Kazakhtan & the concessionaire is Makmore Ltd.
Halim saad holds 25% of Sumatec & hold 98% in Makhmore Ltd.
Sumatec is PN 17 company & to exit PN17 several regularisation plan was in placed & implemented accordingly. Pls refer to website under regularisation plan.
Since listing prices had plumeted from 0.35 to 0.26. The distribution of shares became huge.

Eventhough Finanial report 2013 (86m profit) & 1st quarter 2014 (4m profit) price range crawling between 0.26 to 0.29. Most people wondering why....some believe its due PN17 which create low Sentiment of this stock.

I have made heavy investment in this counter ( Rm 300,000) since listing last November
av price 0.27 now holding Rm 80 k only. since the announcement of Private Placement (PP) on 27 Jan. I'm not investing anymore until PP is completed due another 1 month to go. You will see price will move only after this. As for now will not move further than 0.29.

If you decide to add further to yr investment in Sumatec you must be prepared for the return in 2015 beyond when the increase in oil production will be more than 2000bpd....

MMK..Suma announced PP since 27Jan.....got 6 months to complete. Untill now no news about this....that's why price cannot go up eventhough got good news.....the lower the price better for PP as PP will get further 10% discount from WAMP (price over 5 days). ....now left another 1 month to complete.....sabar aje lah...

Charlie, Yes private placement announced 27/1 ...since this announcement price has dived from 0.33 to 0.26... WAMP ( weighted average Market Price) over 5 days has yet to notified. The lower th WAMP better for PP as they will get further 10% discount....so I don't want to get caught while PP is not completed. Look @ KNM when PP completed last week price up by1 sen next day down by 2 sens.......stay sideline for the time being....
