Benjamin, whatever price you buy Pre-listing will not have much effect on post listing. The distribution of share is huge but not necessay make the price go down when the company elevate the "value" of the company post listing. Perhaps you might want to apply "position strategy" meaning buy at current price in the hope that by post listing date you will gain at least 20%. Always ask yourself " why you want to invest in this counter? " as there are so many good counters out there. As for me - " I buy the company" not the price & wanting to grow with the aspiration of the company.

I do short term ( 1 weeks to 3 months) or rather " position trading strategy" for Telco & IT counters. I go for "long" (1 - 3 yrs) on O&G counters as I see potential far more greater.
Most of the time my trading is guided by ATR like G Packet is 0.02 - 0.03 sens. I find more profitable to trade this way as it will not tie down capital for more than 2 weeks. Occasionaly if opportunity arises I do " day trading" as brokerage is less & profit is higher. Many "gurus" preaches "let your profit runs" & "always take your loses while it is still small"

Normally post-IPO retailers will be selling like mad. Yes there was heavy selling early morning slowly tapering towards late afternoon indicating most of retailers has been "flushed out"

Looking at the chart 0.60 is possible for this month. Why? MACD - still above zero & (-) histogram getting smaller but volume is increasing, making higher high & higher low.
RSI - 53 ( fair) Stochastic already cross over 5 days confirm "call buy" & rebound.
WR just slightly entering overbought but no cause to alarm.... GPacket BOLEH...

I'll give a TP of 0.50 (1 month after listing) with gradual increase of 0.10 - 0.20 every month

I think the Rm86m profit is realised thru sales of their shipping business & non profitable subsidiaries making them as debt free company. I will take a conservative PE of 15 times.

G packet is playing "cool" as offers made did not match. G Packet has high operational cost, with many clients but not good enough to have sustainable returns/profits. Unless the offer made is
" win-win" we can then see the likelihood the merger/acquisition is possible.
After undergone consolidation for more than a week, G Packet had made slight improvement.
It has to remain above 0.50 (support) to confirm - rebound.
MACD stand slightly above zero & RSI - 51 - shows fair
Stochastic is close to crossing price over 5 days - then can initiate " call buy"
WR - 72 still in oversold area.
With new budget I think G Packet has more upside than downside. The possibility to reach resistance (0.55) is great next week.

Matrix - don't simply tarok about the oil being acidic. Let me enlighten you a bit.
Rakuschekoye oil field has premium oil ( very light oil)
Very light oil (47 degrees API) and low sulfur content (less than 0.1%wt) demands premium pricing. Light sweet crude oils have a number of analogous marker crudes, and thus it is relatively easy to assess their likely market price by comparing against oil with similar gravity and sulfur content. Light oils typically have densities between 35 and 40 API. Sweet oils typically have sulfur content at or below 0.5 wt% sulfur. As the oil from the Field is exported solely to Europe, Brent is used as the marker crude for the pricing.

In life we should be open minded & should give HS a second chance to prove his worthiness.

I personally think is not 100% his fault - more of "victim of circumstances" If his comeback can make fortune to Sumatec (who has been laden with losses & entering PN 17) why not we take advantage. Try not "trash him" lah. Now he has new oil field but "only considering" to give to Sumatec. This may add "value" to Sumatec. Your cost = 0.09 + 0.175 = 0.265. See you will be paying lower price than the current mother share. Of course got untung what but you must not sell until after the listing sometime after 6/11 (can't remember exact date)

Pop, when you buy OR you are directly telling the company that you want to subscribe the rights.
Example if you buy 4 OR @ 0.09 then the company will send you subscription form next week indicating your entitlement of 4 rights. You then fill up & pay 4 rights @ 0.175 each.

6/11 is last date for rights payment. During OR (23 -29 October) - too much noise & confusion. 0.28 is support level if violated will go further south & no guarantee if it will rebound immediately.. I think after 6/11 "the sky is clearer". How'ever for risk takers you might want to grab the low price... Why not... the risk is yours

If mother goes below 0.28 then stay away from this counter until after 6/11

Once you buy OR ( min 4) before 29/10, you will be entitled for 4 rights (as example) . Company will mail you the subscription form. Then you return the form + backdraft to MA securities ( refer to instruction given in the subscription form). I think this way you can recover part of yr loses faster.

Derrick if you buy the OR then you still gain. Let's say you buy 1 OR @ 0.10, you are subscribing rights @ 0.175. Then you will receive subsription form. Your price for mother share will be
0.10 + 0.175 = 0.275 each Mother share now trading 0.30 - 0.35. See you already untung + you'll might get 1 free warrant (not sure about this) as probably you have to buy min 10 OR.

THH is OLD MAN, now recuperating, sleeping soundly, if got bomb meletop pun tak tentu bangun. Give it another month or so, now trading sideway cos no story.
MACD slightly above zero with disminishing histogram - shows non trending.
RSi 52 - fair. Stochastic 58 oredi cut above 5 days price. WR - 50 bulls & bear equally strong. In short THH is trading sideways for awhile. If you're looking for action this is not the stock you want to be in especially for contra kaki.

Charlie, next my radar is on hibiscus - found oil in Oman, Ustralia & Norway, but it is offshore, exploration period almost over, now start to commence drilling.

Lotus, Sumatec has regularly comes out with news (business times, edge & Bernama) since 16 June 2013. They have mentioned their "game plan" in July 13. Some of the news they also kena " query" Earlier I was skeptical too & then did "CSI" saw names behind the scene like Hs & Chua MY, some of the board of Directors are reputable standing. This is when I decided to go for long term. my target at least rm 1.50 hopefully by mid 2014.
