From the day Sumatec announced "right issues" I already made my mind to subscribe all irrespective whaever the xdate price. If i do not subscribe I've already made 100% gain but I will stick to my plan of subscribing to the rights as I see the potential is far greater.

Lotus, Dsonic is not a PN 17 company, it has history, good book closure & Fundamental is strong. Sumatec has to play different ball game. 80% who in this counters are traders & not investors. How to show value, they have not paid for the Kazakstan concession yet which held by HS via company Makmore Ltd . That is the reason all this right issues all about. Until this is over Sumatec has yet to gain confidence from the public. For now Sumatec prices is very much control by them. They can bring it up or down as & when they like. So careful if you're not a long term investors you will you might get many disspointment & surprises. Chill out everybody.

I think many might not subscribe to take advantage of short term gain & avoid paying for rights. Closing "doji" at upper level of the candlestick shows uncertainty & chances mother will make a dip. In addition RSI, stochastic & WR all in overbought area.

This is just my perception considering the future earning of the company once full production is enforce. Currently the company is already debt free by disposing all their liabilities ( announcement made late last month) part of their regularisation plan.
Of course if you go according to FA there is nothing to shout about this company.
Exdate price 0.25 now already 0.33 (only 8 sens up) producing 1000bpd & by year end targeting 2000 bpd by end of 2014 targeting 4000 bpd.. 1st 2 years Sumatec will enjoy 100% profit. Thereafter 50:50 will be shared with Rakushechnoye Oil , West Kazakhtan.
Also these oil wells are onshore & not offshore. Lower risk, lower cost comparing to offshore companies.
Look at UMW OIL they have so far only 4 wells developed. & iPO price is 2.80
This is reason why I said it is still low if you look it as long term investment (3-5 yrs).

Louise, you may trade this counter as normal trading. , I still think the price is low even though price of 0.30 (was broken) making above 0.325 - 355. You might get price 0.25 to 0.285 from those short term players who do not participate in right issues but go for "quick gain" this might be after 6/11 after the right issues plan is completed. I feel unlikely price will drop that low but who knows you might be lucky.
Bear in mind since you did not buy any share before 17/10 you'll not entitled for right issues 41:10 + 1 free warant but of course you can buy as normal trading.

How to get back your money if everyday you talk about son. Change yr strategy, if no more bullets, then "go beg or borrow" buy mother while it is still low. Don't worry so much about yr son, when mother up then only it will move up. Don't be so "Kancheong" & "degil" I think many of us here try to help you & gave all sorts of advise to you.

I hope this momentum is not "short lived" Dare not look at the chart ... "molek gila" .. Exceed my expectation. I thought will break 0.30 by end of the month (the earliest).
It will be interesting to watch iSumatec movements this week.

Sumatec with closing cum ex 0.51 so Exdate price will be around 0.24 & warrant adjusted (40%) down to around 0.14.(just estimates)
The adjusted price is expected since Sumatec didn't manage to push price above 0.60
I hope those who have no interest to take up rights had managed to clear position.
For those who take up rights, observe last date to pay before 6/10.
As "rights issues" is the most challenging part of regularisation plan, and now is being done - next step is the company will use the money to finance the oil production.
Targeting to increase from 1000 bpd to 2000 bpd. Meantime sit tight, be patient, let the company execute their planning. After 6 months you will no longer see price below 0.30 or below 0.50 depends on the production.

warrant does not look good for the time being as just undergone conversion.
MACD dipping sharply down & building fat histogram below zero line - indicating super bearish. RSI @ 36 nearing oversold, STOCHASTIC already cross price over 5 days but still at oversold price - indicating call buy. WR - 78 (also at oversold area).
Warrant is in oversold area which gives a "buy" signal together with chart also "doji" (gives sign to spring up)
However since 3/10 closing (0.305) son has been going down. Good news - its making higher high and higher low. (Ada improvement lah). Rebound?? not yet.
I normally buy more when price at oversold area but suggest you DO NOT meddle with it now as mother is going thru ex-date. Next week before 16/10 mother is attempting to break 0.60
If successful ....ada chance son will go up slightly. After exdate if mother adjusted to 0.25 than son's price also be adjusted by 40%... so kira sendiri lah....
Have you thought of Cutting loss before 17/10 . What ever balance buy mother share. Then start fresh after right issue... Just a suggestion. I understand cutting loss is painful but you have to face reality. OK lah got to go I'm taking flight to LAX tomorrow morning belum pack lagi.

Derreck, I feel sorry for you, I've experience it too. Try this if there volatility.
You buy low & sell high, next buy has to be low or lower than the first low you in.
You need to observe the momentum of the next low price, is it normal correction due to profit taking or due to "panic selling". If this happen you do not "swing". Once you're out then you no longer have open position to cut loss so you should not be too hurry to get in to get the low price. Stay out for the day & see how low it can go then decide whether to take "position" or not.
If you happen to get low price but it keeps on dropping to 2% of your holding, CUT LOSS immediately. All the praying & hoping cannot guarantee the price will go up.

Go up to 0.30... sure go up lah ...but will take sometime probably after completion of the rights issues After ex-date it normally take 2-3 months for the stock to move in view o of no of shares flood in the market is huge. I doubt you will see the volatility like now.
Once the regularisation plan is completed in full you will see "different" Sumatec.
Mother share will become "Godmother" share. Then the son will follow.

For traders who wants to take advantage of the volatility of this counter... go ahead, its your risk anyway... but NOT at the expense of others. If you want to goreng .. then "goreng with style". "Negative remarks will influence people to "panic selling" while they will be waiting with a "big tempayang" Some of us here do not do homework but rely on news & rumours. So it is imperative to give correct news be it negative or positive to assist them to make decision to buy, sell or hold.

Before investing need to do some CSI about the company. If you don't trust the mangement & the Kazakstan story stay away from this counter & don't try to incite others not to participate.
Sumatec is not a trading stock nor a contra counter. you will get burn if you try this.
You need to believe in the company & their regularisation plan. Therefore you have to do long term investment to see fruits of your labour.

Today Sumatec performance exceeded my expectation. Range more than ATR 5 sens.
Reminds me of Tiger Wood in his early years as a pro hitting the longest drive (300 yards) Nobody expect this from a 19 yr old boy. When most people redicule, curse & lost faith in this company, some remains calm, now being rewarded with 15 sens in a day .. incredible!
Of course do not expect this to happen tomorrow but then again who knows if company wants a higher ex-date price you might get another surprise.

Sumatec has to show consecutive profits at least 3 quarters to Bursa than the can get apply to get out of PN 17 earlier. Target next year. This also part of their regularisation plan.

Today Friday easy to get lower price, besides sentiment for this counter is super low now. Many feels that magement wants to TIPU by using rights to raise funds. So immediately rights was announced " game over"
RSI - 37 (dropping) price is trading along lower bollinger band turning support 0.50 to resistance. support 0.48 next 0.450. WR% (- 95) Sudah masuk longkang sikit lagi masuk singei kelang. Next week further selling for those did not have chance to dump today.
Maybe another change to collect lower price.

"The Existing Warrant holders will NOT qualify for the entitlement to the Rights Shares UNLESS they exercise their Existing Warrants and deliver their duly completed and executed Warrant Exercise Form together with the remittance in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Deed Poll to the Share Registrar of Sumatec by 5.00 p.m. by 8 October 2013 in order for the new Sumatec Shares issued to be transferred into the respective depositors' securities account prior to 21 October 2013, the Entitlement Date."

If you don't have funds by OR is ok then.
I'm not sure maybe you might have to pay 17.5 + 5 (if this is OR price) = 22.5 sen

When company is going for rights issues it' best stay away from warrants for a while.

Wow panic selling today Sumatec dive 6 sens down. If this sentiment continue tomorrow possibility further down by 0.05 sen reaching 0.50.
Now RSI - 45, drop below MA21, WR% -84 entering oversold. I will enter again at this level.
At 0.50 sens exdate rights issues will be 0.24 & no longer attractive for the public as "discount" is getting less. However Sumatec had appointed 2 underwriters (M&A & Mercury) to pickup the balance of "unwanted" right issues. This will enable Sumatec to fully comply with their regularisation plan.

I think warrant price follow mother & have expiry date. How much the warrant after ex-date depends on Exdate of mother share. Calculation of warrants very tedious & complicated.

Stock market full of RUMOURS. Good or bad inews will gives volatility.
Long term investment is investing in the company not the price.
If you feel it is undervalued is best to buy & keep.

Expected price to drop as many people not interested to participate in the right due to nature of it being PN17 company.
At price of 0.56 today the exdate price will be around. 0.25 (only difference of 0.075 sen)
Better to buy after ex date - no need to come additional fund to pay for the rights.
It will in the hands of the management to entice public to take up the rights, so there should be several announcements after this to inform the public actual status of the project.
Bursa will not allow Sumatec to go for rights issue as this is PN17 company provided they have full prove of the legality & legitimacy of the business.
Long term investment is between 3 - 5 years. Don't tell me company already producing oil will have their share below rm 1. Hibiscus price was 0.90 today 1.90 ( found oil but NOT producing yet)
Anyway Look out for announcements from Sumatec for next few days. It will be interesting.
